Hyderabad, December 2: Ramgopalpet police recovered the body of an unidentified Muslim woman from Husain Sagar Lake. According to police sources, the police patrolling party yesterday evening fished out body of a woman aged between 30-40 years who was wearing burqa.
Gopalpet police shifted the body to Gandhi hospital morgue and began investigations after registering a case.

Adrian Rowland, the father of three children, worked for an engineering firm in Woodley, Berkshire, and was in India seeking business opportunities, The Sun reported.
His girlfriend Julie Zalinski, who works for the same firm, was talking to him on a video chat, when Rowland suddenly produced a knife and killed himself as she watched.

Hyderabad, December 2: Bowenpally police has recovered an infant’s body from the area which was found near a hospital. The body is of a baby girl. It has been understood that the infant of 3 to 5 days has been wrapped up in a cloth and thrown there.
The infant’s body was found by an auto driver who informed the police.
Police suspects that the infant might have been thrown after she died during treatment following her birth.

Riyadh, December 02: Amnesty International described the state of freedom of expression in Saudi Arabia as dire yesterday, saying a proposed anti-terror law would make matters worse by reinforcing “draconian and abusive” measures.
The measures, if adopted, could engender repression in the name of security, the rights group said in a report released yesterday.
Amnesty said the draft law, a copy of which was leaked to the group, indicated peaceful acts of dissent could in future be prosecuted as a “terrorist crime”.

New Delhi, November 02: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will soon file a charge sheet against Lashkar-e-Taiba operative David Headley, a mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
“NIA will file the charge sheet against Headley soon,” Union Home Secretary RK Singh told reporters here.
Later, a top NIA official said the agency was in an advanced stage of filing the charge sheet incorporating all the evidence against Headley, the Pakistani-American who had made multiple visits to India before and after the 26/11 attack.
