Mumbai, June 01: Katrina Kaif has decided not to apply any make-up during shoots from now on — or if needed, the very bare essentials only.

Sources close to Katrina reveal that lately the star has become very concerned with the damage on her skin due to heavy make-up and constant exposure to stark arc lights. Katrina has henceforth decided to shun heavy make-up altogether.

Mumbai, May 31: After eighteen weeks of grueling hard work, Salman Khan, a 23-year-old from Bangalore, was announced the winner of Zee TV’s dance reality show “Dance India Dance” at the grand finale that concluded here Saturday night.

Khan beat Mumbai-based Siddesh Pai and Alisha Singh from Ranchi to walk away with the winner’s cap as well as a contract worth Rs.5 million with Zee TV.

“I thank god, my mother and the audience for giving me so much love,” Khan said after being announced the winner.

New Delhi,May 30: “Love Aaj Kal”, Saif Ali Khan’s maiden venture as producer that also stars Deepika Padukone, is like Test cricket and Twenty20 rolled into one.

The makers of the film, about love across generations, have even tied up with the ICC T20 World Cup, says co-producer Dinesh Vijan.

“‘Love Aaj Kal’ has major similarities with cricket. Like there is Test cricket and T20, the film too has love of two generations – love ‘aaj’ and love ‘kal’,” Vijan told IANS over telephone from Mumbai.

New Delhi, May 29: Television star Ram Kapoor, famous for his portrayal of Jai Walia in TV serial ‘Kasamh Se’, is now set to host controversy queen Rakhi Sawant’s wedding on reality show ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’.

In the show, to be aired on NDTV Imagine, the item girl-cum-actress will choose a groom for herself with the help of the viewers.

Apart from being the show’s host, Ram, who was last seen as a contestant on dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3’, will play Rakhi’s friend and guide and says he is extremely excited about his new role.

Mallika shared an amazing on-screen chemistry with Anil and Nana in the movie Welcome , and showed her comic streak in her last two releases Ugly Aur Pagli and Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam .

Mumbai, May 29: Malaika Arora Bollywood’s glam couple Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan share a passion for reading and they bond over books.

The couple were in the capital recently to launch a book ‘Stretch Yourself’ by model-turned-author Vickrant Mahajan.

“I was always an avid reader, but I got too busy with my professional life, this hobby got left behind somewhere. Now I have revived it, and I make it a point to read for at least two hours everyday,” said Arbaaz.

New Delhi, May 29: Talented actor Shreyas Talpade plays a woman in debutant director Paritosh Painter’s ‘Paying Guests’ and says getting his hair waxed for the role was extremely painful. He vows not to play a woman in near future.

‘Getting waxed for the role was a torture for me. It was like being in a delivery room. I was yelling like a mad dog while I was getting waxed. Even my wife Deepti got scared. She was with me when it was being done,’ Shreyas told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

Katrina said that she stays as an independent woman and there are no questions of any of her stuff lying with Salman and added that she had never even given a gift to Salman.

Buzz up!Katrina went on to say that her photograph is still hanging in the walls of Salman’s bedroom and there are no question of any trouble between them.

Mumbai, May 28: After the Cannes’ red carpet fiasco, Sonam Kapoor who is a die-hard Aishwarya Bachchan fan (as per her own confession) walked up to the latter at Karan Johar’s birthday party on May 25 and extended an olive branch.
Sonam was excited about walking down the red carpet with Ash during the Cannes Film Festival, however, that didn’t happen.

Sonam and Ash represent the same beauty brand and chances are that these actresses might have to walk the red carpet at some event in the future. So the young Sonam wanted all to be well between her and Ash.

Mumbai,May 27: : The Mumbai Regional Congress Committee (MRCC) led by Kripashankar Singh will bear the cost of the two Mhada tenements to be allotted to Slumdog Millionaire child stars-Mohammed Azharuddin and Rubina Qureshi. Each tenement has a carpet area of 180 sq ft and costs Rs 3 lakh.

The decision was taken in New Delhi. Speaking to TOI, Mumbai Congress chief Kripashankar Singh said, “I requested CM Ashok Chavan to expedite the process of allotting houses to these actors.
