Intolerable abdomen pain led to suicide

(Siasat News): A girl student who could not tolerate the abdomen pain, ended her life by jumping from the 4th floor of the building.

AS per the details, Reenamal Chandani, 22, was suffering from acute abdomen pain and due to this, she was not in a position to concentrate on her studies.

However, on April 29, when the pain became intolerable, she took the extreme step. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

 

Urdu may soon become part of school curriculum

Urdu may soon become part of national curriculum, as the government plans to promote Urdu language during 12th plan period.

A proposal has been put forth in the 12th plan which is in the last stage of its finalisation. For the documentation of 12th plan steering committee has prepared a separate chapter for minority welfare. The proposal states that Urdu should not be limited only to Madarsas; rather it should be made part of school curriculum. For this massive recruitment of Urdu teachers in mainstream schools controlled by the state boards and CBSE must be ensured.

FIFA Official Urges Hijab in Olympics

Seeing the Olympic games as an opportunity for Muslim athletes to shine and prove themselves, FIFA vice president for Asia Prince Ali of Jordan called for allowing Islamic headscarf in the coming London Olympics to gather athletes of different cultures under one undiscriminating umbrella.

Pakistanis Become Refugees in Own Country

Once home of thousands of refugees from neighboring Afghanistan, the sprawling Jalozai camp has now become a home of thousands of Pakistanis displaced by fighting in the country’s troubled tribal belt.

Summer Vocational Courses by MDF

Hyderabad, May 1, 2012: According to Khaja Moinuddin general secretary MDF the summer vocational course for women and girls have begun from April 25 at various centres which will continue till June 10.

The list of the centres has been published in Siasat on 25th and 30th April. Training is being given for various courses such as mehendi designing, pot painting, tailoring, beautician, embroidery, soft toys, fabric paining, flower making, computer training and spoken English.

Interest women and girls are requested to reach their nearest centre and join the course of their choice.

Asif to be released on May 5

Banned Pakistan pacer Mohammad Asif will be released from prison on May 5 after completing his jail term in the United Kingdom.

He will decide when he plans to return to Pakistan after being released from prison,” said his lawyer Ravi Gill.

“ Asif will complete his jail term on May 5 and all formalities have been completed for his release,” he said. Asif and his Pakistani teammates Mohammad Amir and Salman Butt were given different jail terms by a London court in October last year for being involved in spot- fixing during Pakistan’s tour to England in 2010.

Sri Lanka Muslims Want Gov’t Protection

Sri Lanka’s main Muslim political party urged the government on Monday, April 30, to protect the rights of religious minorities, saying its decision to tear down a 60-year-old mosque would only salt the wounds of ethnic violence which wasted thousands of lives over decades.

Sri Lanka has been thrown into tension ten days ago when Buddhist monks protested against the Jumma Mosque of Dambulla, disrupting the weekly Muslim prayers.

They also threatened to demolish the mosque next week if the Muslim worship place was not removed.

Running test for Muslim candidates postponed on account of Ramadan

State police has postponed the 5 km running test for Muslim candidates which was scheduled to be held from July 20 to August 21 on account of Ramadan.

Muslim candidates with registration numbers from 739001 to 747000 can attend the running test on September 3 and with registration numbers from 747001 to 763000 can attend the test on September 6.

Xenophobic German Party Targets Muslims

Plans by a far-right group in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia to put anti-Islam caricatures depicting Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) outside mosques to draw voters are worrying German politicians who accused it of carrying out a xenophobic hate campaign against German Muslims.

“Pro NRW is committing spiritual arson,” Interior Minister in state Ralf Jäger told Die Welt on Sunday, April 29.

“The party is consciously taking into account that Muslims will feel provoked and upset.”

BJPS’ “Bandh” failed in Sayeedabad

(Siasat News) BJP has announced “Bandh” to lodge a protest against the arrest of the alleged Hindu miscreants who are said to have disrupted the peace of the area by placing the legs of the cow in Hanuman Temple in Madannapet area.

No specific effect of the “Bandh” was seen in Sayeedabad and Mandannapet areas.

In response to the call given by the Muslim youths, Muslim traders kept their shops closed in Madannapet and other areas. This “Bandh” call was given against the announcement of BJP to observe “Bandh”.

(Siasat News) As per court orders Mohammed Pahelwan will surrender himself to court today. He will start at 10.30 from the Masjid Aliya, Omer Gulshan near Chandrayangutta crossroads along with his companions and will proceed to Nampally court for presenting himself before the magistrate.

Mohammed Pahelwan told that it is his duty to abide by Law and he is surrendering himself in order to obey the court orders.

Rana Daggubati to turn Bollywood film producer

He is just two-films-old in Bollywood. But Telugu star Rana Daggubati is already planning to turn producer for Hindi films.

“I have plans to produce movies in Hindi but not as a remake. But I am definitely looking at producing good
entertaining Hindi films. There is a whole slate that we are working on…hopefully by next year we would put it in
progress. Hopefully, next year you would see me producing a film in Bollywood,” Rana told PTI in an interview.

Prince Andrew to visit Kohima tomorrow

As part of his week-long visit to India, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, will arrive here tomorrow on a day-long visit to commemorate Queen’s diamond jubilee celebration, official sources said here today.

As per programmes scheduled for the visit of the Duke,after his arrival the Prince will visit Kohima World War-II
cemetery and place a wreath in memory of those who fell in the gruesome battle of 1944, the sources said.

Dalit girl raped

A teenaged Dalit girl was allegedly raped by a villager in Chakia village here, police said today.

According to the report lodged by victim’s mother Rugni Devi yesterday, one Guddu Paswan raped her daughter and
threatened her of dire consequences, they said.

The police is probing the matter.

Border trade at Nathula resumes

Border trade at Nathula, one of the three open trading border posts between China and India,in Sikkim’s East district resumed this morning and will continue till 30 November.

District Collector, East, D Anandan said that his office received 301 applications from traders, which were sent
to the Intelligence Bureau office for clearance.

He said that out of the 301 applicants, 50 received clearance from the IB office and the remaining 251 were likely
to get clearance within a week.

The DC said that receiving 301 applications at the start of the season was a good sign. Last year 360

Child shot dead for plucking mangoes

In a shocking incident, a four-year-old boy was shot dead allegedly by his neighbours for plucking mangoes from their orchard in Kharai village in the district.

Shivam was shot by five armed persons in his house for plucking mangoes from the orchard on Sunday, police said, adding he was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The police has registered an FIR in this connection and launched a manhunt to nab the assailants.
