But, we hear Vashu is unfazed by these reviews and expects the movie to do well in the coming weeks.

Mumbai, June 14: With more and more B town stars taking initiatives to help the underprivileged in our country, Bachchan Bahu is the latest one to join the bandwagon. Known for her humanitarian efforts and a philanthropic attitude, Ash has just started what is called ‘Beautiful Beginnings’, an initiative aimed at helping underprivileged girls from socially and economically backward areas. It is heard that Ash will be spearheading a training programme for young underprivileged women that will see her actively promoting education among girls.

Mumbai, June 14: King Khan might have been Bollywood’s highest advance tax payer last year. But the I-T department has not forgotten that the man still owes them money from nearly ten years ago.

The Bombay High Court on Thursday admitted an appeal, by the I-T department, challenging an order of the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), which had ruled in the star’s favour in June 2008.

In the first of its appeals, the I-T department seeks to claim a sum of Rs 19.43 lakh from the actor, out of a total exemption of Rs 72.67 lakh for the assessment year of 1998-1999.

Contrary to rumours that Vidya was averse to an intimate scene in producer Vishal Bharadwaj’s film (directed by Abhishek Chaubey), the truth is that Vidya kissed Arshad very comfortably.

New Delhi, June 14: Jaaved Jaaferi, who tickled the funny bone of audiences in ‘Salaam Namaste’, says he will never do intimate scenes in films.

‘I can never do intimate scenes in films. I’m not comfortable doing scenes which require a lot of sexuality,’ Jaaved told IANS in an interview.

The actor is all set for his forthcoming film ‘Paying Guests’.
