(Siasat News)Headmaster of a municipal school, Mr Ch. Subba Rao lodge a police complaint against father of class III student when he saw a burnt on his back. When he asked he said that his father beaten at home.

Headmaster of school took the child to private hospital and lodge a complaint.

As the mother of the child is ill and is on bed, he used to be angrier.

When the student went to the school Mr Subba Rao, noticed the bruises and enquired about them.

When child reveal the fact HM tried to counsel his father when he didn’t coorperate,he made a police complaint.

Assassination of lakhs of Muslims in Assam deplored by Ambedkar Congress

EAMCET engineering Counseling to start on 6th August

(Siasat News)State Govt is seriously considering to start counseling for engineering stream of EAMCET on 6th August 2012.
Mr. Damodhar Narasimha, Dy. C.M. and Education Minister in secretariat yesterday convened a high level meeting to finalize the schedule of counseling and fixation of fees for engineering could be taken in the meeting regarding the enhancement of fees. It was adjourned for the next meeting. Final decision will be taken today.

The counseling schedule would be finalized in consultation with the representatives of engineering colleges.

RTC National Muzdoor Union withdraws strike

Rubath Nizam draw for Hajj Pilgrims’ accommodation

(Siasat News)Custodian of Rubath Nizam Hyderabad in Makka, Mr. Husain Mohammed Shareef took draw in the presence of Mediamen for allotting free accommodation in Makka to the Hajj pilgrims of erstwhile Hyderabad state. In all, 370 pilgrims were selected through the draw. At present, accommodation is available in both the Rubaths to the extent of 263 and 145 individuals. He clarified that the resident permit for the second Rubath is yet to be received from the civic body of Makka. This wiould be obtained by the end of Ramazan. Out of 408 seats capacity.

Government Ready to hike the fee of Engineering from 31K to 35K

(Siasat News)EAMCET Counseling to begin from August 6,though there is no final decision on the fee hike in Engineering college, The Management of Engineering Colleges is demanding common fee for both management and convener quota i.e., 95,000 per annum.

However Depty Chief Minister and Higher education minister Damodar Raja Narasimha said that the government is ready to increase fee from Rs.31, 000 to Rs.35, 000 if the Management of Engineering Colleges withdraw their demand.

Moderate quake jolts North east, no damage reported

An earthquake of moderate intensity shook Meghalaya, Assam and some other north-east states on Sunday but there was no report of any casualty or damage to property.

The quake, which had a magnitude of 6.0 on the Richter scale, hit the region at around 7:51 am and the epicentre was located 70 km underneath the earth’s crust in Myanmar, officials at the Seismological Survey of India said.

The officials said the quake was of “moderate” intensity and all major towns in the region felt the tremor.

Mr. Rizvi worked as Joint Collector of Ranga Reddy District earlier. It is expected that Mr. Rizvi will take charge as Collector next week.

Thai Airways flight makes an emergency landing at Hyderabad

(Siasat News)Hyderabad to Bangkok Thai Airways flight makes an emergency landing minutes after it took off from Hyderabad due to technical problem at 1.10 a.m. today.

The Airbus-330 with 257 passengers landed after the pilots informed the airport control about the problem and sought permission to land immediately.

Later Airline sources said some passengers were sent to Mumbai and some to Delhi, from where they could be flown to Bangkok.

Others are provided with accommodation in a hotel near the airport.

Mentally Unstable landed at New Delhi From Riyadh without passport,travel documents

(Siasat News)A mentally unstable person landed the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) on board an Air India AI-925 flight from Riyadh on Wednesday without any travel documents, passport or a boarding card.

Even the person is unable to reveal his identity, same times he says his name Mohammad Khalil some time Ahmed Khalil.

When enquired whether he is a citizen of Saudi Arabia, came to know that he was not a Saudi national.

Tiwari files appeal against order to open his DNA report in HC

In his appeal, 87-year-old Tiwari has pleaded with the court to protect his “right to reputation,” contending that the single-judge bench has adopted a “shortcut” to decide the suit and it would cause “grave injustice” to him.

“The single judge failed to appreciate that in a civil dispute, where the undisputed position of the parties is that no criminality is involved, the appellant’s (Tiwari) right to reputation has to be protected,” said Tiwari citing the Supreme Court’s May 24 order.

APSET tomorrow after a gap of 13 years

(Siasat News)APSET (Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test) is going to be held on Friday after a gap of 13 years, last time it was held in 1998.

Since then APSET is not conducted, applicant are used to write NET (National Eligibility Test) which is held twice a year but on an average only 10,000 used to appear it with less than five percent clearing it.

1,17,793 applied for the APSET test, which is teachers eligibility test, this is being conducted by Osmania University after securing accreditation from UGC for 24 subjects.
