(Siasat News)District Collector of Hyderabad, Mr. Natarajan Gulzar is proceeding to America for higher studies and in his place Mr. Syed Ali Murtuza Rizvi (1999 batch of IAS) has been appointed as Collector of Hyderabad District. Mr. Rizvi worked as Joint Collector of Ranga Reddy District earlier. It is expected that Mr. Rizvi will take charge as Collector next week.
Mr. Rizvi hails from Lucknow (U.P). He entered Indian Civil Service after completing his graduation in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He obtained training in Public Management and Policy from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (Gujarat). At present, he is working as Collector, Krishna District.
Mr. Natarajan Gulzar, in his tenure as Collector, had taken stern steps for reforming educational institutions in Hyderabad. He will hand over charge to Mr. Sudher, Joint Collector of Hyderabad from whom Mr. Rizvi will take over next week.
