New Delhi, June 09: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan empathises with tennis ace Roger Federer, because the actor like the French Open Champion feels no embarrassment in shedding tears.

“But he (Federer) is certainly the only one to cry like a baby each time he wins a final. That is one thing I share in common with him. I cry like hell each time any of my films do well, but I also cry when they don’t,” the actor wrote on his blog.

Shahid’s back-out at the last minute surprised us as just few days back the actor had confirmed the news about his performance at IIFA. Even the track on which he would be performing was declared.

Hyderabad, June 09: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is set to shoot an item number for a Telugu film titled “Love 4 Ever”.

“Deepika has agreed to shoot an item number for the forthcoming venture ‘Love 4 Ever’ from June 24 onwards – her first in Telugu,” a publicist told media.

Starring Ranadeep and Mridula, “Love 4 Ever” is being made in Hindi and Telugu and Jayant C. Paranji is wielding the megaphone for it. Laughing Waters Entertainment is producing the film.

Mumbai, June 09: One of India’s greatest dramatists, Habib Tanvir, died on Monday at the age of 85. He died of pneumonia and pulmonary complications.

A patrician figure inseparable from his pipe, Tanvir was revered by theatre wallahs for creating a new theatrical language that married contemporary drama with folk performance and elevating folk forms to international attention.

New Delhi, June 09: Soha Ali Khan, who teamed up with her mother Sharmila Tagore in a British movie, says she was nervous while working with her.

“I was a bit nervous while working with her because she is a perfectionist but it was a superb experience. There were times when she used to scold me on the sets,” said Soha who was in the capital for an event.

Both mother and daughter will be seen in director Sangeeta Datta’s English movie that revolves around a father and his three daughters. The film also stars Girish Karnad, Om Puri and some British actors.

He is No. 47 on the list, which has people like Apple’s product design guru Jonathan Ive, designers Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs and artist Damien Hirst.

Last month, Rahman, who was on the Time list of ‘100 Most Influential People in the World’, found himself sitting at the same table as US First Lady Michelle Obama and TV mogul Oprah Winfrey.

The court postponed the hearing of her bail application to Tuesday, which is why Sheetal – who is part of Mumbai’s jet-set – was forced to spend the night in prison.

The wife of industrialist and Mafatlal Mills owner Atulya Mafatlal was returning from London on Saturday night when she was arrested by customs authorities for carrying undisclosed jewellery worth Rs 53 lakh.

Khan will be given the Best Choreography award for ‘Desi Girl’ (a track from Dostana) at a forthcoming international awards event but instead, will dance direct a song picturised on Shahrukh Khan and Kajol for Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan.

The song will herald the comeback of Karan, SRK, Kajol and Farah quartet after Farah’s choreography for Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’s Suraj Hua Madham track.
