‘Kites’ running sucessfully

New Delhi, May 22: Bollywood famous actor Hrithik Roshan-Barbara Mori starrer “Kites” grossed over Rs.21 crore on its opening day and has become the second highest opening-day grosser after “3 Idiots”, its distributor said Saturday.

“Kites” released with 2,000 screens in India and across 500 screens overseas Friday.

The film that has been distributed by Reliance BIG Pictures is a love story between an Indian guy and a Spanish girl. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film has been produced by Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan.

Mumbai, May 22: Actor Saif Ali Khan says he won’t join Twitter because he feels a gap should be maintained between an actor and the audiences.

“Personally, I won’t be on Twitter because I don’t feel the need. I don’t want to share my thoughts, ” Saif told reporters here at the launch of Wynncom mobile handset at Trident hotel here.

“I don’t know what I will say. And I personally feel that some distance should be maintained between the audiences and the actor. That’s my personal opinion.”

Salman was drunk during hit-and-run mishap

Mumbai, May 22: Salman Khan was under the influence of liquor when he allegedly rammed his car into a bakery in Bandra in 2002, a chemical analyst who tested the actor’s blood sample after the accident has told a trial court.

Salman was taken into custody after he allegedly rammed his Land Cruiser into the Bakery in the wee hours on September 28, 2002, killing one person and injuring four others who were sleeping on the footpath outside the shop.

The test report said 62 mg of alcohol was found from the blood sample of Salman which was in excess of the permissible limit.
