The trustees of K.C. Mahindra Education Trust offer interest-free loan scholarships to Indian nationals lor post-graduate studies abroad in various fields. Applications are invited for the K.C. Mahindra Scholarships for Post-Graduate Studies for the year 2014.

The maximum amount for the scholarships will be Rs. 2 lakhs per scholar, except for the 3 K.C. Mahindra fellow scholarships for which the maximum amount will be Rs. 8 lakhs per scholar.

The Clarendon Fund offers over 100 full scholarships every year to academically excellent graduate students at the University of Oxford, regardless of nationality. The Clarendon Scholarships cover full fees as well as provide a generous grant for living expenses – funded with the help of Oxford University Press, Oxford’s colleges and other external partners. Some 60 Indian postgraduates have been awarded scholarships through the Clarendon fund since it started in 2001.

Applications are invited for Prime Minister’s Scholarships for Asia (PMSA) available for top undergraduate or postgraduate students wanting to undertake study or research in Asia. Programmes supported by the scholarship must be at least six weeks duration and can be up to two years. Scholarship can cover costs including tuition fees, return economy class flights, accommodation, a living allowance and medical insurance. Applications must be submitted before the following dates: 28 March 2014 and 29 September 2014.

Ministry of Culture, Govt of India offers scholarships for young artistes of outstanding promise for advanced training within India. Scholarships are awarded in the fields of Indian Classical Music, Indian Classical Dances, Light Classical Music, Theatre, Visual Arts and Folk, Traditional and Indigenous Arts. 400 Scholarships are awarded every year to young artistes who have already undergone a minimum of 5 years of training with their Guru/Institute. Young artistes in the age group of 18 to 25 years can apply online for these scholarships. The deadline for application is 28th March, 2014.

ESMT European School of Management and Technology is offering partial tuition scholarships for Master’s in Management program. Candidates from the subject area of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) are especially encouraged to apply. Scholarships are open for the students of America, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe Middle East and Africa. The value of each scholarship is up to € 10,000. Application deadlines are April 7 and May 16, 2014.

UWE Bristol University is offering excellence scholarships for Indian, Pakistani and Nepalese students. Up to three scholarships will be awarded for pursuing undergraduate degree program. To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must have achieved at least 85% in standard 12th (or equivalent) and have an offer of a place by 31 May 2014. Scholarships will cover 50% of tuition fee. The application deadline is 31st May 2014.

University College Dublin is offering graduate scholarships for Indian students for 2014. Scholarships are available for most Graduate Taught Masters offered by UCD with exception of Graduate Taught Masters in the areas of Medicine and Medical Science, Veterinary Medicine, or in the Smurfit School of Business, or for Joint Masters. 55 Scholarships will be awarded (5 scholarships will cover 50% of the tuition fee and 50 scholarships will cover €2,000). Under its Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship Programme, the Foundation awards interest free loan scholarships to Indian students with a consistently good academic record. The amount of scholarship, up to a maximum of Rs. Fifteen Lacs, is decided as per the assessment of the Foundation.

London School of Economics (LSE) is offering up to 40 India scholarships for master’s students. Scholarships are available for studying a Master’s programme at the School starting in 2014. Scholarships will range in value from £3,000 to £32,000 depending on financial need. Students must be holding an offer of a place on an LSE Master’s programme by 28 April 2014 to be eligible for an award. Assessment for an award will be made on the basis of financial need.
