The Scholarships are valued at 50% of the tuition fees for one year of study in any Undergraduate or Postgraduate Coursework program offered by the Faculty.
Availability:
2013 – Semester 2
Undergraduate: 14 June 2013 Postgraduate: 31 May 2013
2014 – Semester 1
Undergraduate: 6 January 2014 Postgraduate: 30 November 2013
Criterion:
UG- Open to all international applicants who have an offer of admission for an undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Engineering and IT at the time of submitting a scholarship application Have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification or an international senior secondary qualification accepted by the University with an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 98 or equivalent. The scholarship shall be awarded based on academic merit as Determined by the Faculty Selection Panel.
PG- Open to all international applicants with an offer of admission for a Master by coursework program in the Faculty of Engineering and IT at the time of submitting a scholarship application. Open to applicants with a firm/unconditional offer of admission by the relevant scholarship closing date for the appropriate semester.
Students who have already commenced their postgraduate studies, or students transferring from other postgraduate programs are not eligible. The scholarship shall be awarded on recommendation of the Faculty Selection Panel based on academic merit with a minimum high distinction average or equivalent as indicated by the applicant’s performance in their undergraduate degree.
