Jennifer Hudson has just dropped a hint revealing that ‘ Sex and the City 3 ‘ might be on the cards.

In a recent interview, the 33-year-old actress revealed some behind-the-scenes buzz for the third installment of the movie, E! Online reported.

Hudson said that the third installment might happen as somebody just came to her talking about the movie.

Patna stampede: Responsibility will be fixed on guilty, says minister Vijay Chaudhary

With opposition BJP leaders flaying the state government on the stampede which left 32 dead and 26 injured, a senior minister said responsibility would be fixed on the guilty after a probe.

“Some are saying the incident took place after some people fell in a drain. Still others are talking about snapping of a live wire and rumour spread by a few in the crowd. The truth will come only after a thorough inquiry into the incident,” Minister Vijay Chaudhary told reporters tonight.

Defused grenade found on aircraft kept as standby for PM

In a security scare, the Air India crew on Friday night found a defused grenade in the business class of an Air India jumbo aircraft, which was kept as a standby for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent US visit.

The grenade was found on board the Boeing 747-400 which was operating the Mumbai-Hyderabad-Jeddah flight, airline sources said on Saturday.

On landing at Jeddah, the incident was reported to the local security agencies who took over the aircraft, the sources said.

Four injured as Pak violates ceasefire at RS Pura’s Arnia sector

At least four persons were injured today after Pakistan violated the ceasefire at RS Pura’s Arnia sector in Jammu and Kashmir.

The injured have been admitted to the hospital.

Pakistan resorted to unprovoked firing in Arnia from 7:00 pm after violating the ceasefire in Saujian sector of Poonch in which a 17-year-old girl lost her life.

“A 17-year-old girl died in the firing and four civilians got injured. Today is the third day of firing from the Pakistani side. Huge amount of mortar shelling has been done,” said Poonch Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shamsher Hussain.

IS militants behead another UK hostage Alan Henning

Islamic State militants have reportedly released a video showing the beheading of another UK hostage Alan Henning who was kidnapped in December last year.

Henning was a Salford taxi driver who delivered aid to Syria in December when he was later held hostage by IS fighters.

IS militant group had earlier threatened to kill Henning in a footage released last month showing the beheading of Briton David Haines.

In the latest video, they threatened to kill a U.S. aid worker Peter Kassing, reported the BBC.

All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam ( AIADMK) workers in Chennai held a ‘silent protest’ in support of their jailed party leader J. Jayalalithaa on Saturday.

The workers, all of them dressed in black, were seen clutching Jayalalithaa’s photographs in their hands.

Various protests have been held in Chennai after Jayalalithaa was sentenced to four years in prison following her conviction in the disproportionate assets case. The former Tamil Nadu chief minister was also fined Rs 100 crores by a Bangalore court.

Man held for rape in Goa

A man from Hyderabad has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman in the city, police said today.

The accused identified as Mamillapalli Santoshkumar, now working in Goa, was arrested on Thursday for the incident of rape which had taken place around six months back here, police said.

The complaint lodged by the victim at Panaji police station on Wednesday states that she is six months pregnant.

Govt asks realty firm to focus on building homes for Low income group and EWS

Real estate developers should focus on addressing the housing demand of lower income group and economically weaker section, a senior government official said on Monday.

Addressing a real estate conference here, Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation Joint Secretary Karan Bir Singh Sidhu said that there is shortage of about 2 crore houses in the country, of which maximum exists for the EWS/LIG section of society.

“Organised real estate must address the demand of LIG and EWS,” he said at a conference organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce.

OilMin sets up panel on delays in ONGC’s gas discovery

The Petroleum Ministry has set up a committee headed by DGH to inquire into the reasons for delay in developing gas discoveries in ONGC’s Krishna Godavari basin KG-D5 block.

The three-member committee will be headed by B N Talukar, Director General of Directorate General of Hydrocarbons, and will have the financial advisor and a director from the ministry.

The panel will inquire into delay in developing fields by Oil and Natural Gas Corp in the block KG-DWN-98/2 or KG-D5, and submit its report by end-October, sources said.

Forex reserves continue to fall; down by another $1.4 bn

Falling for the fourth week in a row, India’s foreign exchange reserves went down by USD 1.415 billion to USD 314.181 billion in the week to September 26 on account of a hefty drop in non-US currency assets.

In the previous week, the reserves had fallen by USD 101.3 million to USD 315.596 billion. During the week to July 25, the reserves had touched USD 320.56 billion, a shade away from the life-time high of USD 320.79 billion recorded on September 2, 2011.

11 killed in Odisha accident

At least 11 people were killed when a mini truck carrying them hit a roadside tree in Odisha`s Nabarangapur district, police said Saturday.

Over a dozen people were injured in the accident which took place Friday night in a hilly and forested area near Jharigaon, over 700 kms from state capital Bhubaneswar.

The vehicle with over 50 people on board was on its way from Dabugaon to Chandahandi, police officer GN Manipatro told IANS.

Now, Londoners can charge their phones in ‘green Solarboxes’

London has converted many of its red phones booths into green solar-powered phone charging stations.

The solarboxes are fitted with a roof-mounted solar panel and inside there is a variety of phone charging ports for a range of smartphone models, as well as a screen that displays ads, the Independent reported.

Harold Craston, who came up with this idea with Kirsty Kenny, said that he thought that there are 8,000 of the phone booth lying unused in London and they must be able to find a use for them.

Father of IS hostage appeals for his release

The 81-year-old father of the British journalist John Cantlie, who was captured by the Islamic State (IS) in Syria, Friday pleaded with the Sunni radical group to release his son.

In a nearly five minutes video, Paul Cantlie made the heartbreaking appeal sitting in a hospital bed. His voice was raucous as reports said he just underwent a throat surgery, Xinhua reported.

“As a family we experienced great relief seeing and hearing John and knowing that he is alive. This was followed by the feeling of despair and helplessness,” said Cantlie.
