BJP senior leader Nallu Indrasena Reddy on Friday strongly criticised the TRS Government while accusing it of ignoring the development of Telangana.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited the temple town of Tirupati here on Friday.

Telangana’s Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma has directed the officials to complete the preparations for first budget of Telangana State by September 15.

The Chief Secretary on Friday held a meeting with the senior officials to review the arrangements for State’s budget. The government had earlier constituted as many as 14 Task Force Committees to prepare the budget. Dr Sharma has reportedly asked the officials to submit the proposals of their concerned departments latest by Monday.

A new study had discovered that it’s the man’s best friend that tops the most devoured animals list for leopards in India.

The research led by the Wildlife Conservation Society, which looked at scat samples for leopards in India’s Ahmednagar’s district in Maharashtra, found that 87 percent of their diet was made up of domestic animals. Domestic dog dominated as the most common prey item at 39 percent and domestic cats were second at 15 percent.

Seventeen percent of the leopard’s diet consisted of assorted wild animals including rodents, monkeys, and mongoose, and birds.

A new research has revealed that children from rich families are likelier to show behavioral problems, like aggression and defiance, after their parents’ separation.

3-4 slit green chillis

1 tomato, chopped

pinch of asafoetida/hing/inguva

1″ ginger finely chopped

1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves (optional)

1 tsp ghee (optional)

1/2 tbsp oil

For seasoning:

1 tsp mustard seeds

1/2 tbsp split black gram

1/2″ cinnamon stick (optional)

12-15 curry leaves

Ingredients:

1 cup dry lentils

1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or less depending on your spice preference)

1 cup water

6 ounces canned crushed tomato (or tomato puree, but not tomato paste)

4 tablespoons butter

1/8 teaspoon salt, more to taste

1/3 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro

freshly ground black pepper

In a large sauce pan, add the lentils and fill with water to cover by 2 inches.

‘ Divergent’ star Theo James will be playing the lead in the upcoming ‘Underworld’ movie.

The Lakeshore Entertainment project would see the 29-year-old actor, who played a vampire named David in 2013’s ‘ Underworld: Awakening’ play the central character opposite two new female characters in the 5th film in the vampire action installment, the Hollywood Reporter reported.

Casting for the film, which would be scripted by Cory Goodman and produced by Lakeshore’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi, is in progress, and the shooting is expected to begin in spring 2015. (ANI)
