15 Muslim families dislodged from Prakasham District

In Rajapalem Village in Kothapatnam Mandal of Prakasham District, 15 Muslim families were dislodged from their village two days back by the people of the majority community.

Two days back there was a rift between the Hindus and the Muslims. It is reported that the Hindus started pooja on the land belonging to the Muslims. It is adjacent to the Mosque.

The villages locked the houses of the Muslims and forced them to shift to other places.

Zahid Ali Khan’s discussion with Mr. Naidu to communicate Muslim Declaration to people

Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu, TDP Chief discussed with Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Polit Bureau member of TDP and Editor Siasat, the ways and means to communicate Mulim Declaration to the Muslims.

Mr. Naidu presented proposal for popularizing these documents among the Muslims.

It is reported that during the course of discussion, the nomination of office bearers of Minority Cell of TDP was also discussed. In addition to this issue, various other issues were also discussed.

Hope for kidney cancer patients

German scientists are testing a vaccine which if successful could bring relief to thousands of kidney cancer patients.

The vaccine was conducted on 19 patients with renal cell carcinoma so advanced that other therapies were no longer effective.

“Seven of these patients are still alive and have had their disease stabilized for up to 65 weeks,” Ingo Schmidt-Wolf, of the Centre for Integrated Oncology in Bonn, said.

No need of developer’s NOC for sale of flats

It will not be mandatory for flat-owners and housing society residents to get NOC from builders while selling or transferring their property, Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan has said.

“There is no need for flat owners to seek NOC from builders before sale or re-sale of flats. There is no such provision in the Maharashtra Ownership of Flats Act (MOFA),” he said.

Chavan has said such illegal activities of pressurising flat-owners to seek NOC must be stopped.

Anti-Islam film: Ex-Pak lawmaker offers bounty of $ 200,000

A former Pakistani lawmaker on Monday offered a USD 200,000 bounty for anyone who kills the maker of an anti-Islam film during a protest against the movie in Peshawar, days after a federal minister announced a reward of USD 100,000 for eliminating the person behind the video.

Ikramullah Shahid, a leader of a faction of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, made the offer before a crowd of 15,000 people during a during a rally led by the Defa-e-Pakistan Council.

Shahid is a member of the grouping that includes hardline religious and extremist groups like the Jamaat-ud-Dawah and Sipah-e-Sahaba.

White House suffers cyber attack

The White House has confirmed its computer system was targeted in a cyber attack, but the effort was thwarted and no classified networks were compromised.

Spokesman Jay Carney told reporters Monday that it was a “spearphishing attack against an unclassified network”.

He said these types of attacks are not infrequent and the White House has mitigation measures in place, reported Xinhua.

Carney made the remarks to reporters in Henderson, Nevada, where President Barack Obama is preparing for the first presidential debate with Republican challenger Mitt Romney on Wednesday.

Donning a Gandhi cap with “Mein hoon aam admi, mujhe chahiye Janlokpal” (I am common man, I want Jan Lokpal) printed on it, Kejriwal said: “It is a big day for the common people. They are fed up of corrupt politicians and rising prices and are coming together to change the politics of the country.”

Kejriwal, who split up with Anna Hazare recently, reiterated that there was no rift between them.

Defending champions England were knocked out of the World Twenty20 Championship Monday as Sri Lanka marched into the semi-finals with three consecutive wins in the Super Eight stage.

Sri Lanka confirmed their semi-final berth with the a 19-run win along with the West Indies, who had earlier in the day defeated New Zealand via a Super Over.

Pacer Lasith Malinga was the catalyst in Sri Lanka’s victory as he took five for 31, restricting England to 150 for nine. England, who required a win to qualify for the semis, failed to chase down the hosts’ score of 169 for six.

President to visit Bihar from Wednesday

President Pranab Mukherjee begins his two-day visit to Bihar Wednesday with the launch of the state’s road map for agriculture, officials said Tuesday. Tight security arrangements have been made for his visits to Patna and Darbhanga.

Bihar Chief Secretary A.K. Sinha said that preparations for the president’s visit have been completed. Mukherjee will formally launch the state’s agriculture road map here, prepared by the state government to boost food, fisheries and animal husbandry industries.

(Siasat News): A 16-year-old girl from Pargi died in suspicious circumstances during the treatment in Osmania General Hospital.

According to Pargi police, B Saritha, a first year intermediate student of Government Junior College, Pargi, was complaining of severe stomach pain for three months.

She was admitted at the Pargi General Hospital. However, doctors had advised parents to shift her to Osmania. Further investigations are on.
