One youngster tried to immolate himself at the Telangana Bhavan, TRS headquarters office here, today, leading to tension. Telangana activists who were present there, however, doused the flames, saved him and sent him to the Hospital for treatment.

The youth complained that there was delay in formation of separate Telangana state only because of the political parties and the leaders. He poured kerosene over his body and set afire. Alert people around, came to his rescue and saved him.(NSS)

Telangana Congress MPs have mounted a scathing attack on the chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for arrests of activists throughout Telangana region, and also demanded the resignation of Ministers from the region, if they have any shame left.

Speaking to the Media, the M Ps said the arrests of people coming to the city from different parts of the region has exposed his cowardice, and questioned whether there was Parliamentary system in the State or Police Raj. They demanded the immediate release of all the Telangana activists.
