Terror suspect and 26/11 handler Abu Jundal is likely to be produced before a court in Delhi on Thursday.

On October 03, a Nasik court ordered that the LeT operative, in custody of Maharashtra police, be produced before Tees Hazari court on October 04 in a case of conspiring to carry out terror attacks in India.

The order was passed by Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate PS Rathod on a plea made by National Investigation Agency (NIA) that they needed the custody of Syed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Jundal for interrogation in the case.

The Andhra Pradesh unit of the BJP on Wednesday demanded that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should make a statement on the issue of separate statehood for Telangana before his visit to the state scheduled later this month.

Adding to the rising spurt of crimes against women in Haryana, two minor girls were allegedly raped in Rohtak district while a mentally challenged woman was sexually assaulted in Jind.

A 13-year-old girl was today allegedly raped by her 45-year-old neighbour in Shastri Nagar locality of Rohtak district, about 70 km away from Delhi.

US authorities have busted an alleged Russian spy ring after the arrests of its 11 members involved in illegal shipping of “sensitive technologies”.

The arrested members have been charged with illegally shipping sophisticated microelectronics to Russian military and intelligence agencies, RIA Novosti reported.

The FBI arrested the alleged ringleader, 46-year-old Alexander Fishenko, and seven others Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

They also executed search warrants at seven residences and business locations and seized assets from five bank accounts.

Birth rates in the US fell for the fourth straight year, the government said Wednesday.Experts blamed the bad economy for low birth rates.

“Children are very expensive and people may look at the situation and think this is not the best time,” said Brady E. Hamilton, lead author of a government report.

But, Hamilton said it is “not really a matter of births foregone, but births postponed,” as the study also revealed the birth rate for women 35 and older rose.

Singer Wiz Khalifa has changed his smoking habits for his unborn baby.

The 25-year-old’s model fiancee Amber Rose is expecting their first child and gets irritated with Khalifa’s smoking, reports contactmusic.com.

“I smoke outside instead of inside. Everything is all about smells, man. If the smell irritates her, then it gotta go,” Khalifa said.

Even though the couple know about the gender of the baby, they have refused to reveal it. They got engaged in March this year.
