Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday expressed his displeasure over vandalism occurred during bandh observed by the YSR Congress in protest against the arrest of its president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

The Chief Minister sought explanations from the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police on the death of a driver of a private vehicle in the attack by the agitators. He also directed them to order an inquiry into the incident and take stringent action against the culprits.

Addressing the officials while reviewing the progress of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project with the ministers and officials at the State Secretariat, the Chief Minister asked the officials to ensure that there were no traffic bottlenecks or problems in the city while the Metro Rail works are in progress and the citizens are not put to any difficulties.
