Chidambaram unlikely to resign despite adverse judgements
New Delhi, January 31: : It’s not just one, but a triple blow likely for the UPA government as after today’s order on deemed sanction to prosecute after four months, the Supreme Court in the next two days will deliver two more judgements. One will relate to the CBI questioning Union Home Minister P Chidambaram in the 2G scam, and the third relates to the Attorney General’s role in the same case.
Justice Ashok Ganguly’s retirement on 2 May has fast tracked all three judgements.
