Hyderabad, December 8: In an incident occurred at Bingidoddi village of Aiza mandal in Mahaboobnagar district a three year old kid fell into a 200 feet deep abandoned borewell but the district administration and police after 6 hours of successful effort managed to rescue the boy safely. According to details 3 year old Tirumalesh who was playing near his house accidentally fell into an open borewell at nearly 3:30 pm.

Local people informed police and the police immediately started rescue operations.

Hyderabad, December 8: If the citizens start relentless efforts for getting their rights then governments are forced to bow to their demands. The human rights organizations had started expressing their anger over police firing on Muslim youth and police excesses against Muslim youth post Makkah Masjid blast.

Dubai, December 08: On December 10, Saturday the moon will turn completely red for the second time this year.

The Dubai Astronomy Group has called upon the public to go out and witness the special celestial spectacle.

According to Nasa’s website partial eclipse will start exactly at universal time 12:45:42 (16:45 local time and end at 16:17:58 UT (20:17 local time).

“At the instant of greatest eclipse (14:32 UT) the moon lies at the zenith in the Pacific Ocean near Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands,” the website adds.

Mumbai, December 08: Amid reports of her cosying up to fellow actor Ranveer Singh, actress Anushka Sharma has said she has “genuine fondness” for him whom she calls her “inspiration”.

Anushka and Ranveer’s love-hate relationship is no secret since they starred together in Maneesh Sharma directed ‘Band Baaja Baarat’, which went on to become a hit.

“We got to know each other better from Ranveer’s debut film,” the actress said ahead of tomorrow’s release of ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’, directed by Maneesh Sharma under the banner of Yash Raj Production.

Dubai, December 08: A newly-wed Indian man drowned while swimming in the Sharjah sea while his wife watched helplessly from the beach.

The incident took place on Saturday evening, but the details emerged only yesterday.

Chris Mon, 28, hailing from Kottayam district in Kerala, had gone to the beach along with his wife and friends and decided to go for a swim while his wife stayed on the beach, Emirates 24/7 newspaper reproted.

Hyderabad, December 8: Police Rajendar Nagar arrested the victim’s first wife and other two persons on charges of Mohammad Saleem’s heinous murder at Attapur Ring road. According to inspector Rajendar Nagar Mr. Jai Ram, unidentified motor cycle riders had attacked Mohammad Saleem, attender of directorate of insurance with lethal weapons.

Hyderabad, December 8: Sunshine hospitals achieved a milestone by performing a rare congenital heart surgery of a 45 year old man.

Addressing a press conference Dr. Krishna Prasad cardiothoracic surgeon said that the patient suffered from asthma. He had hole in the heart and the arteries were contracted. The heart valve was deeply affected. Operation was a big risk but sunshine hospital accepted the challenge and performed the rare surgery. The patient is well now.

Thane, December 08: In a bizarre case, a farmer who was opposed to his daughter’s relationship was set on fire by the family of her lover, police said here Thursday. Three people have been arrested in the case.

Narayan Rama Hindola, 45, a tribal farmer of Khondechi Wadi, around 65 km from here, has been admitted to hospital with over 90 percent burns.

His condition has been described by doctors as “very critical”, according to local police Officer S.B. Jhundre.

Islamabad, December 08: A Pakistani court has dismissed a petition seeking action against actress Veena Malik for getting herself photographed in the nude in an Indian magazine.

The Islamabad High Court ruled that the controversial pictures were published in another country and so she cannot be tried in Pakistan, Geo news reported Thursday.

The actress has denied posing in the nude and said her photographs were morphed.

Petitioner Salim Ullah Khan Wednesday moved the court against Zahida alias Veena Malik contending that she should be tried for obscenity, sedition and defamation.

Hyderabad, December 08: The Andhra Pradesh High Court Thursday ordered release of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader Cheruku Sudhakar, declaring his detention under the National Security Act (NSA) as illegal.

Acting on petitions by his wife, TRS and Telangana Advocates Joint Action Committee (JAC), the court directed the government to immediately release Sudhakar on bail.

The order came two days after the state government, in an extraordinary move, issued an order detaining the TRS politburo member for 12 months.

Mumbai, December 08: Vidya Balan has received rave reviews for her performance in The Dirty Picture and, impressed by her dare-bare act, Kareena Kapoor is said to have given Madhur Bhandarkar the go-ahead to shoot scenes on similar lines for Heroine.

But Vidya, 32, feels no one can cross the benchmark set by The Dirty Picture.

“I think, no one could get dirtier than this. They can make a Heroine, but will not be able to make a Dirty Picture,” said Vidya who started her career in Bollywood with Pradeep Sarkar’s Parineeta in 2005.

Mumbai, December 08: The Rupee slipped for the third day today as
it opened at 51.74, easing by four paise following persistent
demand for greenback from importers, dealers at the Inter-bank
Foreign Exchange said.

The domestic unit registered intra day high and low at 51.93 and
51.74 against the dollar with a major oscillation, dealers said.
The Rupee is down following negative trend in equity market
and Dollar’s gain against other world currencies, dealers said.
Yesterdsay, it had slided by 29 paise to 51.70 against the Dollar.

Hyderabad, December 08: The City Police have apprehended an alleged thief who was involved in at least nine cases of thefts in the limits of different police stations.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, ACP Asifnagar T Nagaraju Kumar said that the sleuths of Tappachabutra and Humayun Nagar police stations arrested 22-year-old Pimple Amaresh on Wednesday near Tallagadda Bus Stop while he was in possession of a stolen Maruthi car.

At the centre of the case is a sexual assault complainant known as N.S., who does not want to testify against two men accused of raping her unless her face is obscured by a religious veil, or niqab.

The defendants assert that the Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees them the right to confront their accuser and observe her facial nuances as she testifies.

Mumbai, December 08: The Pakistani actress featured in a racy cover shot in the December edition of a men’s magazine in India told CNN she posed topless but not completely naked.

Veen Malik appeared on the cover of the Indian edition of FHM wearing only one thing: a tattoo on her arm bearing the initials ISI, the acronym for Pakistan’s infamous Inter-Services Intelligence agency — causing a stir in her conservative homeland.

Malik said FHM doctored the photographs to show her without clothes and has now revealed plans to sue the publication.

The new ENMAC Quran MQ3500 phone, launched last month in India, comes with Islam’s holy book translated in 29 languages and a compass that directs users toward Makkah. Muslims bow in the direction of the holy city for prayers five times a day.

Hyderabad, December 08: Once again all the Telangana elected representatives and Telangana peoples’ organisations are eagerly waiting for AICC president Sonia Gandhi’s birthday on December 9.

Two years ago, on that day, close to midnight, Union Home Minister P Chidambaram announced that the process for creating separate Telangana state would be initiated, but made a volteface on December 23 saying consultations were required.

Now all pro-Telangana forces and political parties in the region are demanding that the Central government should honour its December 9 statement.

Hyderabad, december 08: Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, whose film `The Businessman` is on the verge of completion has spiced it up by getting intimate with his co-star Kajal Agarwal in the film.

It was for the first time ever that the two actors indulged in an intimate kissing scene on screen. The `Singham` hottie was more than comfortable shooting for the scene, for it was shot aesthetically by director Puri Jagannath of the `Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap` fame.

Mahesh has sung a song for the first time in the film and has dubbed his portions for the Tamil and Malayam versions.

Hyderabad, December 8: The occupation of Babri Masjid cannot be ended through appeals, dharnas or table talks. The occupied mosques can only be reclaimed through the method adopted by Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). We should stop people from idol worship. As the Prophet Mohammad destroyed the 360 idols and reclaimed Ka’ba we must also reclaim Babri Masjid by removing idols kept in Babri Masjid.
