This week, her ‘close friend’ Ranveer Singh says he hangs out with Anushka only because they have common friends.

“We go out for movies, to eat but we are not dating!” Someone really needs to sit these two actors down and explain to them it is abnormal at this age and time to deny even having dated anyone!

IIM-Ranchi planning to study Dhoni’s brain

Ranchi, August 05: Indian Insttute of Management-Ranchi (IIM-R), one of country’s premier business schools, is planning to foray into neuro management by mapping the brain of Team India’s most acclaimed captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and understand the reasons for his success as a leader.

The institute wants to take Ranchi’s renown in mental health to the next level, and is in the process of tying up with the city’s Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) to start the new course. The results of the Dhoni study will be the precursor to a full-fledged neuromanagement course.

Father shells out ‘supari’ for son’s murder

Muzaffarnagar, August 5: A man has been arrested for hiring contract killers to get his son murdered in Nagla village in the district.

Police told that 23 year old Shehzad had gone missing from July 29, later his body was recovered near a canal.

During investigations the shocking revelation came to light that the victim’s father, Shakoor, had paid Rs 10,000 to contract killers to get his son killed.

CM refuses to oblige Komati

Hyderabad, August 05: The Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, refused to oblige the infrastructure minister, Mr Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, who came out strongly against conducting the SI recruitment exams till the clause 14(f) was deleted from the Presidential Orders.

Mr Komatireddy met the Chief Minister along with other Telangana ministers, Mr D. Sridhar Babu, Mr Basavaraju Saraiah and Mr P. Sudarshan Reddy at the camp office and almost demanded him to postpone the SI exams slated for August 13 and 14.

Telangana to figure in Parliament today

New Delhi, August 05: The issue of separate Telangana will figure in Parliament tomorrow with Lok Sabha scheduled to take up a calling attention motion on the issue.

Leader of the Opposition Sushma Swaraj has given a notice of the calling attention, which will be responded to by Home Minister P. Chidambaram.

The issue has led to resignation of over a dozen MPs, including several from Congress, from Telangana region and Speaker Meira Kumar is yet to take a decision on the resignations.

Hyderabad, August 05: The Union home minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, is expected to provide some leads on the contentious Telangana statehood issue when, for the first time, the Lok Sabha will take up a discussion under a calling attention notice given by Opposition leader, Ms Sushma Swaraj, on Friday afternoon.

The BJP’s senior members, Mr Gopinath Munde, and Mr Ramesh Bais, and the leader of the CPI, Mr Gurudas Dasgupta, will also take part in the discussion on Friday.

The Congress member from Malkajagiri, Mr Sarve Satyanarayana’s name is also mentioned.

Rich go on junkets with poor’s fund

Hyderabad, August 05: Government departments have become notorious for diverting funds and their misuse.

It has come to light that the Department for Inter-national Development (DFID) diverted Rs 5 crore that had come from UK for poverty alleviation, to a special purpose cell and used it for other areas including foreign travels of officials.

Moreover, parts of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) funds kept aside for maternal and child welfare are also being siphoned off by village administrative heads, say sources.

Telangana Issue will be discussed in Parliament today

Hyderabad, August 05: Leader of the opposition Ms. Sushma Swaraj had given the notice to the Speaker of the Parliament for raising the Telangana issue today. It is expected that this issue will come up for discussion. Mr. P. Chidambaram Home Minister will reply to the notice.

More than a dozen members of Parliament have tendered their resignations to pressurize the central Govt. to take immediate decision for the formation of Telangana State. The speaker, Ms. Meera Kumar has not taken any action on these resignations yet.

Siasat daily performs burial of 5 unclaimed bodies

Hyderabad, August 5: On the request made by I Town Police Station Nizamabad, Shah Inayatganj PS, Mangalhat and Sultan Bazar Police stations to Mr. Amir Ali Khan, news editor Siasat, Siasat administration took delivery of 5 Muslim dead bodies from Osmania hospital and performed burial at Kukatpally graveyard. BJP wishes speedy recovery to Sonia

New Delhi, August 05: The BJP on Thursday wished speedy recovery to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who has gone abroad for a surgery for an undisclosed ailment.

BJP: illogical, unconstitutional

New Delhi, August 05: Keeping the Prime Minister out of the purview of the proposed Lokpal Bill is “illogical” and even “unconstitutional,” Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj said here on Thursday as she explained why the Bharatiya Janata Party had opposed the measure at the introduction stage itself. Ms. Swaraj said she was allowed to place her objections in the Lok Sabha, although normally a member could, at the introduction stage, question only the legislative competence of the House to pass the proposed legislation, which was not the case now.
