Hyderabad, August 01: Screening toys made in India and abroad for toxicity – as per the Supreme Court’s direction – is turning out to be easier said than done, as much of the estimated Rs.2,500 crore (over $535 million) market is unregulated, say scientists.
Experts from the National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH), Ahmedabad, National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), Hyderabad, and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, have taken up the uphill task.

Mumbai, August 01: It has been a slightly slow journey for Minissha Lamba in last couple of years but the pretty girl is not minding it. She did pin a lot of hopes in her last release WELL DONE ABBA but poor marketing, promotion and release strategy spelled doom for the film at the box office. The silver lining was some good appreciation that she got from the critics and a select few audience who saw the film in theaters. That has been good enough for Minissha to keep disappointment at bay and look forward to future assignments.

While Hrithik will be playing Amitabh Bachchan’s role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, Priyanka will play the role of a nurse, and girlfriend that was played by Madhavi in the original. Dubai, August 01: Tiger Woods will compete in the 2011 Omega Dubai Desert Classic at the Emirates Golf Club, announced the promoters and organizers of the event.
Woods had won the event twice in 2006 and 2008.
Tiger is looking forward to his Dubai trip in Feb 2011.
“The level of competition has always been extremely high; so I know I’ll have to play my best golf if I’m going to regain my title,” said Woods.

Karachi, August 01: Pakistan coach Waqar Younis on Saturday gave his support to his young team even though another batting collapse is likely to lead to a heavy defeat against England in the first test at Trent Bridge.
The Pakistanis were set a world record run chase of 435 by England but at stumps on the third day they had slumped to 15 for three.

Islamabad, August 01: As many as 3,000 people may have died in floods that have devastated Pakistan’s northwestern region, the local head of the country’s largest rescue service said.
Rescuers on Sunday were struggling to reach people in northwest Pakistan trapped by the worst floods in living memory which have killed more than 800 people so far.
A million people have been affected by the flooding, the United Nations said.
“The death toll could go as high as 3,000 because the level of destruction has been so great,” said Mujahid Khan, chief spokesman for Edhi rescue service.
