Researchers have been baffled why oral bacteria have shown up in the placenta or amniotic fluid of pregnant women.

New Delhi,May 13 : The Darul Uloom, Deoband, India’s foremost Islamic seminary, on Wednesday denied that it had asked Muslim women not to work alongside men, saying it had only suggested that working women should dress properly.“We had only given an opinion based on Sharia that women need to be properly covered in government and private offices,” said Maulana Adnan Munshi, spokesman for the seminary in Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh.He denied a media report that the seminary was opposed to men and women working together.

New delhi,April 09 :THE Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to have a relook at its decision to direct a CBI probe into the killing of Sohrabuddin and his wife Kausarbi in an alleged fake encounter in Gujarat.

A bench comprising Justice Aftab Alam and Justice Cyriac Joseph also dismissed a petition by IPS officer Geeta Johri — the leader of the Gujarat Police team conducting the probe — who wanted the court to expunge certain adverse remarks made against her in the judgment.

Tiwari to explain stand against DNA test

New delhi,April 09 :There is more trouble in store for N. D. Tiwari. The Delhi High Court has asked him to explain why a DNA test should not be conducted on him to ascertain the allegation made by a man claiming to be his son.

The court hinted that the 84- year- old leader might have to undergo a DNA test to nullify the allegations in the paternity row.

It also sought a specific response on each of the more than 100 photographs in which Tiwari is seen with the petitioner, Rohit Shekhar, and his mother on various occasions since his birth.

26/11 Terrorist buried in Mumbai

Mumbai,April 06: The bodies of nine Pakistani perpetrators of the brazen 26/11 attack on Mumbai were secretly buried in January, the Maharashtra government revealed today.
“Bodies of nine terrorists who attacked Mumbai on November 26, 2008, have been disposed of in January this year,” state home minister RR Patil informed the legislative council.

The unclaimed bodies had been lying in the morgue of the Sir JJ Group of Hospitals since the attack that claimed 166 lives.

Pakistan has been denying that the terrorists were its nationals.
