Hyderabad, Feb 03 (Siasat News): The Joint Action Committee constituted for the cause of Telangana, has decided to form a longest human chain as part of its struggle for separate Telangana state.

According to a press note of JAC, on February 3, a human chain will be formed from 10 am to 12 noon at Tank Bund. It is the part of the longest human chain for Telangana Manavaharam from Adilabad to Mahboobnagar.

PCB lost USD 47.22mn due to scrapping of India series

Karachi, December 03: Pakistan Cricket Board lost revenue worth USD 47.22 million after the Indian government didn’t allow Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s men to tour the trouble-torn country for a Test series earlier this year, following Mumbai terror attacks.

The accounts of PCB, scrutinised by the Auditor-General of Pakistan show that the board lost revenues of around USD 39 million from the cancelled series, which it would have earned from the sale of television rights.

Arrest of deer hunters irks city’s so-called political party

Hyderabad, November 14 (Siasat News): Circle inspector Kamareddy Mr. Jaipal Reddy has conducted a press conference at Kamareddy circle’s Sadashivnagar police station where he disclosed that three persons involved in illegal hunting of deer are arrested and seized three slaughtered animals, a rifle, cartridges, knife and a jeep belonged to them.

Government fails to protect wakf properties: Zahid Ali Khan

Hyderabad, October 27 (Siasat News): Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, member TDP politburo said that the state government is not concerned in protecting wakf properties and all Muslims will have to come forward to do the needful.

Mr. Khan was speaking to media persons after visiting Idgah Gutla Begumpet. He said that 90 acres of land endowment under Idgah Gutla Begumpet and for its ownership, more than eight cases are under process in different courts where the court has ordered that the status of the wakf properties should be kept as it is.

Wakf Tribunal fined Rs.10,000 to GMR

Brutal murder at Tappa chabutra

Hyderabad, October 14 (Siasat News): An incident of brutal murder took place in the jurisdiction of Tappa chabutra police station where the murderers threw the dead body on the road and fled.

According to the police, a dead body was found in front of the municipal ward office that could not be identified.

The body was found with its legs and hands tied with rope and a tape was pasted on the mouth. The head was bleeding and the neck had the marks of rope.
