Jeweller robbed of 5 kg gold

Hyderabad, June 15 (Siasat News): Three motorcycle borne miscreants injured a Mumbai based jeweler Mr. Rakesh Sakaira and snatched away a bag containing 5 kgs of gold ornaments in Abids on Tuesday.

The Central Zone DCP, Mr. Akun Sabharwal, has placed the Abids police inspector Mr. K Shiva Kumar, under suspension for laxity in duties.

Police has started a crack down for the robbers and many vital routes of the city are cordoned off. In the meantime, the condition of the injured jeweler is said to be stable.

Man held for travelling on son’s passport

Hyderabad, June 14 (Siasat News): The RGI police of Shamshabad has arrested a man traveling on a fake passport. According to the police, one Puroshottam, 43, native of Karimnagar, had gone to Bahrain in 1998.

There his employer kept his passport. He anted to come to India but his employer did not allow him. Puroshottam then obtained an EC (Emergency Certificate) and came to India in 2007. However, he was eager to visit Bahrain again.

Conmen gang arrested

Hyderabad, June 11 (Siasat News): Central Crime Station has arrested a 3-member-gang of the conmen including a lady doctor. The modus operandi of the gang was to lure the aspirants of MBBS and post graduate students on the false promises of getting them a seat in the desired course.

In this way, they used to take huge amount of money from them. The gang members had distributed Rs. 36 lakhs in the form of extortion from various doctors and leading luxurious life.

Youth murdered by rowdy sheeter

Hyderabad, June 9 (Siasat News): A rowdy sheeter murdered a young boy at Kamathipura’s locality of Kumharwadi. As per the details, Md. Saber, 20, resident of Syed Ali Chabutra, had come to Kamathipura to visit his friends.

During his visit, he developed heated arguments in connection with a mobile phone of one Parvez Khan and some money transactions. The arguments turned violent as Parvez Khan stabbed Saber, killing him on the spot.

Dead body of the missing youth found

Hyderabad, June 8 (Siasat News): The dead body of a 22-year-old youth was recovered from Musi river who was missing from Langar Houz.

The deceased Chinna was the resident of Ambedkar Nagar, Langar Houz and was working as wall painter. He had left the house as usual on June 4 but did not return home. His worried parents contacted the police.

However, his dead body was recovered from Musi River. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Hyderabad, June 7 (Siasat News): RBI police of Shamshabad has remanded two persons for making fake visas.

According to the details, Vijay Kumar, 30 of Mehdipatnam and Madhu, 34 of Karimnagar, handed over fake Dubai visa for Rs. 11,000 to one R Tirupathi. He was happy having obtained visa for Dubai little realizing that what is in store for him.

Auto driver kills wife

Hyderabad, June 6 (Siasat News): An auto driver slit the throat of his wife at Balanagar’s Goutam Nagar. According to the details, Venkatamma, 30, a labourer, was married to auto driver Murali.

However, Murali was suspicious of Venkatamma’s fidelity. This was always resulted in their fighting. Today morning, when the quarrel turned violent as out of anger, Murali slit the throat and instantly killed her.

Balanagar police has registered a case and Murali is arrested.

Woman missing with children

Hyderabad, June 4 (Siasat News): A woman along with her three children is missing from Badam Galli of Old Malakpet.

According to Chaderghat police, Atia Fatima, 30, along with her three children went missing since May 29. In the meantime, Atia Fatima’s father Habeebuddin has lodged a complaint in Chaderghat police station and the police has already started the search operation.

Hyderabad, May 30 (Siasat News): Sayeedabad police has found a dead body of 28-year-old person from Asmangadh who was identified as Veenu of Malakpet.

The dead body was found near a wine shop. According to the police, the deceased Veenu had not reached to his house since last two days and his relatives were worried.

Hyderabad, May 14 (Siasat News): A man was brutally killed in Bowenpally and later his dead body was burnt. Police Bowenpally reached the spot and conducted a panchnama and started the investigation.

According to inspector Bowenpally Mr. Venu Gopal Reddy, police got a decomposed body from the bushes near Vithal Nagar nullah. The identification of the dead body is impossible. The deceased is between 20 to 25 years of age.

Hyderabad, May 12 (Siasat News): The immigration officials at RGI arrested a man who was traveling on a fake passport.

According to the details, Sheikh Riyaz, 28 and native of Anantpur, had gone to Riyadh on a labour visa. On his arrival to Riyadh, his employer kept his passport with him. Moreover, he was being harassed by his employer and not provided enough food and shelter. Riyaz was not paid his salary for months.

D Anjaneyalu’s head was smashed by one of his brothers with a flowerpot, while the other brother and their father held him.

Hyderabad, May 07 (Siasat News): A 60-year-old woman who was hit by a train, died in the hospital. Native of Gulbarga, Nagamma was living in Sanathnagar.

ACB raids RTO

Hyderabad, May 05 (Siasat News): In a surprise raid, the ACB officials seized Rs. 1,30,000 from the Malakpet RTO. According to the official sources, the ACB raided the RTO at 1.45 pm following a tip-off.

The ACB officials also arrested 13 unauthorized RTA agents and took them in custody. The incident proves that even after the government issuing GO 177, which bans agents at RTO, the rule is openly flouted.

Man dies in a bid to kill son

Hyderabad, May 04 (Siasat News): A man who tried to kill his son by setting him on fire, died of burns after his son held on to him.

This bizarre incident took place at Jagadagirigutta in Jeedimetla. T Manikyam, 57, a labourer and an alcoholic, had stopped working and depended on his, Ramesh, 20, an auto rickshaw driver, for money.

Irked over his son’s opposition to sell their house, Manikyam doused Ramesh with kerosene and torched him. Ramesh held onto Manikyam and both of them suffered burns.

Hyderabad, May 3 (Siasat News): Police recovered the decomposed bodies of a mother her children from a house in Vanasthalipuram.

During the preliminary investigations, police said that a man has poisoned his wife and two minor children and is missing ever since. Police has also recovered a note in which one Venkatesh has admitted that he had poisoned his wife Vanisri and two children aged 5 and 7 years.
