Husband sets wife ablaze

Hyderabad, February 1 (Siasat News): A man allegedly set his wife ablaze last night in panjagutta. This incident sent shock waves in the city and the angry people of the locality handed over the man to the police.

 The deceases Tasleem Sultana, 25, was the wife of one Sheikh Mahboob. Both of them got married in 2005 and have two children. However, four years back, Mahboob developed the bad habit of boozing and used to come home in drunken state and harassed his wife.

Harassed by paramour, woman commits suicide

Hyderabad, January 31 (Siasat News): a woman committed suicide in Pahadi Shareef area by jumping into a pond. It is suspected that she might have taken the extreme step as she was constantly harassed by her paramour.

According to police Pahadi Shareef, the dead body of one Tirupati amma, a labourer, was fished out from Ranganaiku pond.

She had illicit relations with one Venkateshwar Rao as she had left her husband five years back and was living all alone.

Son kills father for money

Hyderabad, January 30 (Siasat News): In a heart-wrenching incident, a son killed his father in Bolaram police station limits.

According to police sources, Krishna, 60, was living with his son Ramchander, as the details of his other family members are not available.

Ramchander used to harass his father over money and used to ask financial favours every now and then.

Hyderabad, January 28 (Siasat News): There was a report published in Siasat’s January 26 edition on page No.6 in printed paper and page no 11 in e-paper in connection with a widow Fatima Begum.

As her bank account was not furnished, it was not published also and this created problems for the donors.

Minor girl kidnapped and raped

Hyderabad, January 28 (Siasat News): Falaknuma police has handed over a youth to judicial custody in connection with the kidnap and rape of a minor girl.

According to police, Mohd. Ahmed, 21, resident of Achi Nagar was handed over to judicial custody. Ahmed was a mobile technician and was in love with a minor girl of class IX.

Last week, he somehow managed to woo the girl to come with him to Mumbai where he had reportedly raped her.

Minor girl kidnapped

Hyderabad, January 27 (Siasat News): Some unidentified abductors kidnapped an 11-year-old girl in Naredmet. The kidnap took place in a Hindi film style.

This morning, Sai Divya, resident of Defence colony and student of class V, was standing near her house along with her mother.

In the meantime, some unidentified persons reached there and asked the address of a temple with Divya’s mother. As Divya moved a little further to guide them, the unidentified persons took the advantage of the situation and kidnapped her.

Missing youth’s dead body found

Hyderabad, January 25 (Siasat News): Rajendranagar police has recovered the dead body of a youth from Himayath Sagar who was missing since last two days.

According to Rajendranagar police one Panduranga Reddy, 25, was an MBA student. He had left his house two days back and did not return.

Inspector Rajendranagar J Ram said that he might have committed suicide due to some personal problems as the motorcycle of the deceased was also found near the lake.

Seven arrested for attempt to murder

Hyderabad, January 24 (Siasat News): police Kalepathar has arrested seven persons including a woman advocate for attempt to murder on two brothers.

As per the details, there was a new factory started near dargah dopahadshah in the name of New India metal works, which was opposed by the people of the locality.

Police constable committed suicide

Hyderabad, January 23 (Siasat News): A police constable related with Chaderghat police station, committed suicide in his quarter.

22-year-old Bhasker, resident of Goshamahal police quarters, hanged himself. Police sources said that he used to drink occasionally.

The cause of the suicide is yet to be ascertained. Police Shahinayathgunj has registered a case.

Old man murdered

Hyderabad, January 21 (Siasat News): An old man was brutally murdered in the suburban area of Medchal. According to the police, some unidentified assailants killed him with sharp weapon.

The name of the deceased was P Chakravorthy, 61. He was shifted to the hospital but died during the treatment. The deceased was the manager of an agricultural company.

The cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained. Further investigations are on.

Brother-sister duo arrested while dumping the dead body

Hyderabad, January 20 (Siasat News): Police has unmasked the mystery of a murder while it arrested a man and a woman in suspicious circumstances in S R Nagar police station limits.

The duo is said to be brother and sister and they were seen by patrolling police at B K Guda while they were trying to dump and dead body late last night. Both Lalitha and Kishore are in police custody.

Betting on cricket, one arrested

Hyderabad, January 19 (Siasat News): The east zone team of commissioner task force has arrested a bookie who was accepting bets on cricket league matches and seized cash, TV set, mobile phone and other materials used in the betting.

According to the details, one Kunal Jain of Malakpet, is a salt trader and runs his company as Paras Marketing. He earns approximately Rs. 7000 per month.

Ornaments stolen from temple

Hyderabad, January 18 (Siasat News): Some unidentified robbers stole gold and silver ornaments from a temple situated in Kukatpally Housing Board phase-III.

The robbers broke open the lock of the Vasavi Parmeshwari temple and decamped with 15 kilos silver and 2 tolas gold. According to police sources, this heist took place despite the presence of the watchman but he was sleeping at that time.

Hyderabad, January 17 (Direct) Mr. Khaja Asadullah, popularly known as Asadbhai, r/o Yakutpura, Bada Bazar, died in the wee hours of January 16.

Namaz-e-Janaza was offered at Masjid Kamela, Yakutpura after namaz-e-Maghrib and burial took place at Takiya Roshan Dil.

Woman killed by paramour

Hyderabad, January 17 (Siasat News): A woman was brutally killed in Borabanda. Police suspected the paramour of the deceased Anusha, 30, and started the investigation from all angles.

According to police sources, Anusha was the wife of one Prakash of Sedam, Karnataka ten years back and have two children.

Both husband and wife got separated one year back and after that Anusha had shifted base to Hyderabad and has been living in Borabanda whereas her children remained with her husband.

Husband’s negligence led wife to suicide

Hyderabad, January 16 (Siasat News): In a bizarre incident, a wife committed suicide, as her husband did not turn up to see the new born.

This incident occurred in Pahadi Shareef police station limits. As per the details, Sattamma, 24, resident of Balapur, who got married with one Krishna, a year ago.

Sattamma delivered a baby boy a few days ago and insisted upon her husband to visit her and see the new baby.

Woman kills former husband

Hyderabad, January 14 (Siasat News): A woman in Uppal, allegedly killed her former husband with the help of her present husband.

This brutal murder took place at Rajendranagar situated in Ramanthapuram where P Swamy, 47, allegedly got killed by his former wife.

According to police sources personal dispute might be the cause of the murder. Inspector Uppal Mr. Satyanarayana said that the deceased was an auto driver and had divorced his wife Anuradha alias Rani.

House owner fires at the thief

Hyderabad, January 13 (Siasat News): Chhatrinaka witnessed a wave of sensation when a landlord fired at a thief from his revolver and injured him.

According to details, Sri Ramulu Patel, 75, resident of Lalitha Baug, was in his house all-alone. Taking advantage of the situation one thief Thirupatiah, 45, resident of Uppuguda, entered the house quietly and tried to rob the house.

Hyderabad, January 12 (Direct): Mr. Md. Khaja Mahboobi, resident of Murad Mahal, Talabkatta, retired RTC employee, died today. He was 67.

Attempt to loot ATM foiled

Hyderabad, January 12 (Siasat News): Some robbers attempted to loot ATM situated in Vanasthalipuram in the early hours today but fate had something otherwise.

According to details, some unidentified robbers entered the ATM chamber of Axis Bank and hit the machine with iron rods. Luckily a passer-by spotted them doing so and immediately closed the shutter.

Failed love affair led to suicide

Hyderabad, January 11 (Siasat News): A man who was deeply in love with a girl, took the extreme step of suicide by hanging.

This incident occurred in Kanchan Baug police station limits. As per the details, Ravi chandra, 26, resident of Maruti Nagar in Chmpapet, was in love with a girl and proposed for marriage.

On refusal from the girl, he was so upset took the extreme step. His mother Radha, had seen him trying to hang, she immediately alerted the neighbours.

Driver murdered in Afzalgunj

Hyderabad, January 9 (Siasat News): A car driver was brutally murdered in Afzalgunj and the dead body was thrown in Musi river.

As per the details, Mohd. Azhar 27, resident of Kamal Nagar, Chaderghat, went missing from his house since January 5 and today, his decomposed dead body was recovered from the river.

The dead body bore wound marks and with slit neck. Afzalgunj police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
