Dowry greed led husband to kill wife

(Siasat News): A greedy husband strangulated his wife to death, as he wanted more dowry. This incident occurred in Naredmet police station limits where one Shivraj strangulated his wife Lavanya, 24, resident of Rama Bhagya Nagar, old Naredmet and hanged her from the roof to mislead the police to treat as a case of suicide.

According to police, both of them got married in 2010 and ever since he kept on harassing Lavanya for more dowry. Naredmet police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Woman arrested for traveling on fake visa

(Siasat News): The immigration staff of Rajiv Gandhi International airport arrested a woman traveler for obtaining a fake visa and handed her over to RGI police.

According to the police Marwa begum, 22, resident of Pahadi Shareef, reached a beauty parlour situated near Charmniar to earn her livelihood.

There, she happened to meet one Husna. She assured her a job in Doha and introduced her to an agent called Shakeel.

Financier murdered

(Siasat News): A financier was brutally murdered ay Kali Qabar in old city. It is said that B Satyanarayana, 45, resident of Sarojini Nagar colony, old Malakpet, had a scuffle in connection with financed money.

Police suspect that a local shop owner might be involved in the murder. According to inspector Mir Chowk, Mr. Venkat Reddy, the deceased has reached Kali Qabar in connection with some collection and there he had a scuffle with some unidentified persons.

Dowry greedy husband kills new bride

(Siasat News): A greedy husband killed his just five-month-old wife for more dowry. This incident took place in Rajendranagar police station limits.

As per the details, Yasmeen sultana, 30, was married to one Amjad of Mohammmedabad five months ago. After few days of marriage, he started harassing his wife for more dowry. He attacked his wife with a sharp weapon killing her on the spot.

Not only this, he gave her electric shocks too.

(Siasat News): The senior computer operator Munsif Daily Al-haj Mohd. Salahuddin s/o late Mohd. Badruddin died in a tragic road accident.

Namaz-e-Janaza is scheduled at 10 am at Masjid Salman, Talabkatta, Aman Nagar B and burial will take place at ancestral cemetery situated at Maula ka Chilla, Rangili Khidki.

He is bereaved by widow, three sons and a daughter. The late Salahuddin was the paternal uncle of Md. Viqaruddin, computer operator Siasat Daily.

(Siasat News): A 58-year-old retired air force employee committed suicide by hanging at his house in KPHB colony due to financial crisis.

The deceased was identified as V N Gandhi, a resident of Jayanagar in KPHB colony. He was an alcoholic and used to fight with his wife.

The deceased spent most of his pension amount in boozing. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Unidentified dead body of a woman found in pond

(Siasat News): The body of an unidentified woman recovered from a pond in Shamshabad. According to RGI police, the age of the deceased is around 50 years and she was a beggar. Her dead body was found floating in the pond.

The local people informed the police and RGI inspector Durga Prasad immediately came into action.

It was also revealed that the dead body had been floating in the pond since last one week. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

She was always found busy on her phone. She has been working at Nims hospital since last two years as she failed to clear her SSC whereas her mother was working as a scavenger in a bank situated at Basheerabagh.

ATM custodian arrested

(Siasat News): Police arrested the ATM custodian who had fled with Rs. 15 lakh meant for loading in an ATM in Madhapur.

A resident of Indiranagar in Banjara Hills, the accused B Prabhakar, 27, was working with Write Safe Guard Agency. He went to Kachiguda and spent the night in a lodge and bought a cellphone for Rs. 20,000 and left for Vishakhapatnam.

Cops nabbed him and recovered cellphone and Rs. 14.5 lakh from him. Further investigations are on.

Illicit liquor suppliers arrested

(Siasat News): Task Force has arrested three persons from Dhoolpet in connection with supplying of illicit liquor and seized liquor packets from their possession.

It is said that Babloo Singh, 35, Ramesh Singh, 26 and Raju, 25 hail from Dhoolpet and used to supply the illicit cheap liquor to various places of the city.

Yesterday night, they were supplying a load to Sangareni colony of Saeedabad where they were arrested by Task force and later handed over to Saeedabad police.

Wife brutally murdered by hubby

(Siasat News): A husband brutally killed his wife in Banjara Hills and fled the scene. This hair-raising incident occurred at Bhola Nagar, Road No. 12 late last night where Fouzia Khatoon, 28, was killed in her husband Feroz Khan’s attack.

Feroz Khan not only strangulated her to death but also later, cut her wrist veins and fled the scene. According to police sources, Fouzia and Feroz got married 9 years back and have two children.
