Infant dies by snake bite

(Siasat News): a one and half year old girl died when a snake in Pragi bit her. According to police that infant Pooja was the daughter of Srinivas who is a farmer.

Yesterday, when Pooja was playing near her house, a snake bit her. She was immediately shifted to Niloufer Hospital where she died during the treatment.

Police has registered a case.

Woman commits suicide

(Siasat News): A woman who was constantly harassed by her husband, took the extreme step of ending her life. This incident occurred in Madannapet.

23-year-old Ratna who was the wife of one Ravi Kumar, resident of Madannapet, hanged herself after a row with her husband last night.

As per the details, Ratna hag received a sum of Rs. 50,000 as ex-gratia after the death of her father. However, Ravi Kumar was interested in the same money and had been demanding the same from Ratna.

Two held for murder

(Siasat News): Five days after the brutal murder of an auto driver at Kalepatthar, two persons were arrested in connection with the crime.

Police said that the accused Mohd. Ashfaq, 27, a rowdy sheeter, and his brother Mohd. Imran, 22, killed the victim due to animosity. The victim Mohd. Nisar, 31, was stabbed to death in presence of his brother Mohd. Owais.

In-house son-in-law commits suicide

(Siasat News): Marrying a girl of his choice and living in her house after the marriage, proved dearer to a man who committed suicide when he could not tolerate every day quarrels and arguments.

This incident occurred in L B Nagar police station limits where 24-year-old Mahendra Goud, a private employee, took the extreme step by consuming pesticide last night.

As per the details, the deceased had married a girl of his choice Asha and had started living in her house after marriage.

Man electrocuted to death

(Siasat News): A 28-year-old man B Krishna Goud electrocuted to death. This incident occurred in Chaitanyapuri police station limits where inspector Mir Mubashir Ali said that the deceased was the resident of Margadarshi colony, Kottapet, has been working in a canteen at Raythu Bazar.

He came into contact with a live wire in the canteen while preparing the masala (ingredients) for some dishes. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Woman’s decomposed body recovered from pond

(Siasat News): Police Kukatpally has recovered the decomposed body of a woman from a pond in the outskirts of the city which was allegedly been thrown in the pond some ten days back.

The deceased is in the age group of 25 to 30 years. It is suspected that the killers might have thrown the body in the pond situated in Pragati Nagar to eradicate the evidences.

Software engineer held for sexual exploitation

(Siasat News): Musheerabad police has arrested a software engineer who allegedly exploited a girl sexually on the pretext of marrying her.

Inspector Musheerabad Mohd. Riyazuddin said that Sravanthi, 22, resident of Parsigutta, is a beautician. She was in love with s software engineer Vasudev Rao, 24, since last seven years.

Sravanthi was insisting upon him to get married but Vasudev kept on delaying it on one or the other reason.

(Siasat News): The argument on a petty issue between newly married couple, led the husband to end his life by hanging himself.

This incident occurred in Nacharam police station limits where Abdul Rahman, 25, took the extreme step in his room.

According to police sources, the incident came into light when the new bride came there and found her husband hanging from the roof. The deceased was a caterer and got married just a week ago.

Robber arrested

(Siasat News): Golconda police has arrested a robber and recovered gold ornaments worth Rs. 10 lakhs from his possession.

As per the details, sheikh Fayaz Ahmed, 28, resident of Ahmed colony, Langar Houz, used to rob the houses in the city in association with his friend Mohd. Qutub.

According to Golconda police, 37 tolas gold ornaments recovered from him whereas police is yet to recover gold ornament from his associate Qutub who is in Cherlapally jail.

 

No reservation to Muslims, no vote: Zaheeruddin Ali Khan

(Siasat district News): Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor Siasat, said that Muslims could safeguard their rights unitedly.

Young girl goes missing

(Siasat News): The parents of an 18-year-old girl, identified as Nahidunnisa, have lodged a police complaint claiming that their daughter is missing.

The Chaderghat police received a complaint on June 6 from one Ahmedi Begum in which she said that her daughter Nahidunnisa left home, without informing anybody and did not return.

Dead body of missing minor girl found

(Siasat News): Police has recovered the dead body of a missing minor girl of Champapet from Talabkutta. Not only this, police Saroornagar has come into the action and arrested the killer duo.

14 gamblers arrested

(Siasat News): Musheerabad police has raided a house at Bholakpur and arrested 14 persons involved in gambling.

Additional inspector Musheerabd Mr. Mohd. Riyazuddin said that as soon as he got the information, he immediately conducted a raid on a residential premises and arrested 14 persons present there and seized Rs. 43000 cash from their possession.

Later, they were produced in the court and handed over to judicial custody.

Man brutally murdered in Malkajgiri

(Siasat News): Some unidentified persons killed a man in Malkajgiri. As per the details, 38-year-old Motiram Naik, native of Nalgonda, was residing near Safilguda bus stop. He was a borewell labourer.

Yesterday night, some people were boozing near his house and they asked for water from Naik that he refused.

At that time, the boozers went away from there but after sometime they came back there and beat Naik severely with pipes and sticks, killing him on the spot.

Man murdered by co-worker

(Siasat News): A 35-year-old man was murdered by his co-worker following a quarrel. Both of them were under the influence of alcohol.

The deceased, A Sanjeeva Reddy, a worker at Rajdhani Hotel at Vanasthalipuram, was hit on his head with a heavy object by his co-worker Tirupathi while he was resting at his work place.

According to Vanasthalipuram police, Sanjeeva Reddy had a fight with his co-worker at his residence over a petty issue, but it was later resolved.

Youth drowns in lake

(Siasat News): A 19-year-old youth drowned in a city lake while he was trying to retrieve a cricket ball from a tank in Bahadurpura.

Police said Mohd. Ghayasuddin, resident of Kishenbaug, jumped into the Miralam tank while he and his friends were playing cricket in the government park. When one batsman hit the ball, it went into the lake. Ghayasuddin, who was fielding, jumped into the lake to get it.

Woman ends life after killing her kids

(Siasat News): A woman killed her two children—Lathika, 2 and 10 month old Dikshita—and later committed suicide due to the harassment by her husband and in-laws at Nagarjuna Nagar under Kushaiguda police station limits.

Police said Chaitanya, 26, killed the kids by hanging them from the window grill. Kushaiguda inspector Srikanth Goud said Chiatanya then hanged herself from the ceiling.

Her parents lodged a complaint stating their daughter was harassed by her in-laws.
