(Siasat News): A woman who was allegedly dragged in a theft case, committed suicide, as she was heart-broken.

This incident occurred in Shivrampally police station limits where Priyanka, 24, took the extreme step after she was subject to the constant harassment by her relatives.

According to the police inspector Shivrampally police station Mr. Venkatesh, the deceased poured kerosene on her body on September 5 and set herself ablaze.

(Siasat News): A defence employee was found murdered at Hafeezpet on Friday.

Police said that the deceased was identified as Shaik Nagur, 55, MES, Ministry of Defence, Hakimpet from the ID card on the body that was found in an open place near Gopal Rao Nagar Housing society in Hafeezpet.

(Siasat News): A man who had developed mental tension as he was away from home, wife and children in connection with employment, committed suicide.

This incident occurred in Meerpet police station limits where 40-year-old Radhakrishna, resident of Chilkalguda, hanged himself at his residence.

He has been living away from his wife and children since last three months. He was said to be an alcoholic and had developed mental tension due to the loneliness. Police has registered a case.

Gold ornaments recovered from woman robber

(Siasat News): Vanasthalipuram police has arrested a woman robber belonging to notorious Kondamma gang and seized 80 tolas gold ornaments and cash.

According to police, the woman Mangamma hails from Guntur’s Tadepally Mandal and was involved in various crimes in twin cities.

Police had arrested her some time back and sent her to jail. The gold ornaments, cash and the receipts of fixed deposits were seized from Mangamma’s bank lockers.

Man brutally murdered

(Siasat News): a man was brutally murdered in the outskirts of the city Kesara. According to the police, some unidentified persons crushed the head of one Venkatesh with a heavy boulder at Damaiguda.

The deceased was a mason and was missing since last three days. Missing complaint was lodged in Kesara police station.

He was the resident of Nagarjuna Nagar colony in Kushaiguda and said to be a native of Kurnool. Police has registered a case.

(Siasat News): A lover who failed in his affair committed suicide in the outskirts of the city.

This incident occurred in L B Nagar police station limits where Nitish, 21, took the extreme step by hanging. He has been working in a TV channel as video editor.

He was in love with a girl but it was a one-sided affair, as the girl did not reciprocate. Nitish was very upset over this and ended his life.

(Siasat News): A man committed suicide at Gagan Pahad in Shamshabad RGI police limits. According to police, B Srinivas, 45, resident of Gagan Pahad and a driver by profession, had complained about the chest pain.

However, the pain increased yesterday and became unbearable for him. When he could not bear the pain any longer, he took the extreme step of ending his life by hanging.

(Siasat News): A pan shop owner murdered his wife and 9-year-old son on Sunday because his wife decorated her hands with mehendi on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.

Before killing her, the man had heated argument with his wife saying she wasted money on mehendi. The accused Abdul Khaleel, 30, runs pan shop in Pahadishareef police limits.

The victims were Sajida Begum, 28 and Abdul Rahman, 9. Police said that the man smothered his wife and son to death at their house.

7 convicted for cheating

(Siasat News); The special court for CBI cases has convicted seven persons for cheating the SBI’s Vidyanagar branch of Rs. 34.5 lakh by submitting fake documents.

Three of the accused were the employees of the bank. P Ravindra Prasad, Y Sukumar and K Haragopal conspired with four others and submitted fake documents for a loan of Rs. 34.5 lakh in 1996. All the accused were given a two-year jail term.

Three arrested for realtor’s murder

(Siasat News): Uppal police arrested Venkat Kumar Gupta for the murder of realtor-cum-chit fund operator K Prameela.

The police also arrested Sai Raj and Ritesh who were hired by Gupta to eliminate Prameela for Rs. 10 lakh and later burn her body.

It has come to light that Venkat Kumar Gupta owed a huge sum of money to Prameela and thus decided to eliminate her. Further investigations are on.

Three held for making fake currency

(Siasat News): Amberpet police has nabbed a three-member gang involved in making fake currency notes and seized materials from their possession.

Giving the details, additional deputy commissioner police, East Zone, Mr. M Venkateshwar Rao said that G Srinivas Reddy of Karimnagar along with his two associates Rajsekhar alias Balu and Venkat Reddy, was making fake currency notes with the help of computer scanning.

He was later handed over to Abids police for further investigation. According to sub-inspector Mr. Madhu, one Guru Prasad had obtained passport in his real name in 1991 and had gone to Chennai to get an American visa but failed.

(Siasat News): In a bizarre case, a son killed his own mother for the sake of a job. This hair-raising incident occurred at East Marredpally in Secunderabad.

According to the police sources, 52-year-old Shantamma who was offered the job of her late husband Pochiah when he died some time back. However, due to this, Shantamma’s two sons were unhappy with her.

The elder one Raaj Kumar used to quarrel with her over the issue. Yesterday, he took the extreme step and brutally killed his mother with heavy boulder.
