(Siasat News): Anti-corruption Bureau has caught a high official of APCPDCL Subramanyam Swamy red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. 27000 from a contractor who had lodged a complaint and a trap was laid to arrest him.

The official had demanded the money from the contractor Venkateshwarulu to clear the salary bill of a security guard. Further investigations are on.

Two-wheeler robber gang arrested
(Siasat News): The East Zone Team of Commissioner Task Force has arrested a three-member gang involved in stealing of two wheelers from different parts of the city.

According to Mr. B Limba Reddy, additional deputy commissioner police task force, 19-year-old D Manikam along with his two associates K Shiva, 25 and P Sai Kiran, 20, stolen Hero Honda, Passion and other makes in Hyderabad and Cyberabad limits.

House burgled
(Siasat News): The burglars targeted a locked house in Saeedabad and made their escape good after stealing 10 tolas gold ornaments.

According to police, K Shivraj, 34, owner of a kirana shop, had gone to his relative’s house along with his wife and children to attend a function.

In the meantime, the burglars broke open the lock of the house and gained entry. They broke open the cupboards and stole 10 toals gold ornaments.

Woman’s dead body found in the office
(Siasat News): Police found the dead body of a woman in the office of a private company at Tilak Nagar in Nallakunta that sent shock waves in the locality.

Police suspect that the woman might have been murdered. According to the details, the deceased G Sunitha, 30, wife of one Mungilal, was missing from May 17.

However, when people near the office of job consultancy smelled unbearable odour coming out from the office room, immediately informed the police.

Officer caught red-handed
(Siasat News): An executive officer was caught red-handed by ACB officials while accepting the bribe of Rs. 10,000 from a person for doing an official favour.

M Veerabhadriah, 46, executive officer at Kallakal Gram Panchayat in Toopran district, was caught in his office while accepting the bribe.

Chemical test conducted on fingers of both hands of the officer and the paper in which the tainted currency was kept yielded positive results. Further investigations are on.

Silver biscuits recovered from metal shop
(Siasat News): Police Shahinayatgunj has arrested two persons who were involved in the theft of silver biscuits and cash from a metal shop in Feelkhana.

According to deputy police commissioner, west zone, Mr. G Sudhir Babu, Bablu Singh, 20 and Vishal Singh, 19, had stolen Rs. 7,95,000 in cash and 10 silver biscuits (4 kgs) from Venkateshwar Metal Company in Feelkhana by gaining entry from the balcony and had fled the scene.

Dead bodies found in Banjara Hills and Meerpet
(Siasat News): Police has found dead bodies in Banjara Hills and Meerpet. One dead body was found in a pond and police suspect that it was a suicide case whereas another body that was found in a nullah is said to be a murder case.

Banjara Hills police has recovered the dead body from Sheikhpet nullah. The deceased is between 25 to 30 years of age. The body is decomposed.

It is said that the killers might have committe3d the crime somewhere else and the body was thrown in Sheikhpet nullah.

Two die after falling from the building
(Siasat News): Two persons died when they allegedly fell down from a building. The se incidents occurred in Kukatpally and Shahlibanda police station limits.

According to Kukatpally police, Abdul Saleem, 40, resident of Hashmathpet, Bowenpally, was checking the quantity of water in a sump when he lost his balance and fell down and sustained severe injuries.

This incident took place on May 11 and after that Saleem was admitted to a hospital where he died during the treatment last night.

Cash stolen from temple
(Siasat News): Mutyalamma temple situated in Amberpet, witnessed another case of theft. Police sources said that unidentified thieves entered the temple premises by breaking open the locks and made their escape good by stealing Rs. 10,000 from the Hundi.

It is further said that six months back, some thieves had entered the premises of the same temple and had stolen gold ornaments of the idols.

Amberpet police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Private employee looted
(Siasat News): Ameerpet is the busiest hub of the city where some robbers, after diverting the attention of a private employee, relieved him of his Rs. 3.5 lakh.

As per the details, one Jagdish, employee of a construction company, had withdrawn the money from Axis Bank and was returning to his office.

Just then, two strangers approached him and got him busy in some conversation. This is how they diverted his attention and snatched the bag carrying cash and fled the scene.

Suitcase near Alpha Hotel creates panic
(Siasat News): An abandoned suitcase found near Alpha Hotel Secunderbad created panic among pedestrians and shopkeepers.

The bomb squad, which reached the spot, confirmed there was no explosive material in it. Gopalpuram sub-inspector R Gopi said that they got a call about the abandoned suitcase.

But later, the bomb disposal squad found only some clothes in it. Probably some passenger might have forgotten to take it along.

Kidding proved fatal for a friend
(Siasat News): In a bizarre incident at Kokaki Tatti in Husseini Alam, a friend died when he was being pushed by another friend while both of them exchanging some pleasantries.

Abdul Azam, 27, resident of Shahgunj, died when he was pushed by his friend Basheer. Inspector Venkat Reddy of Husseini Alam said that Azam was under the influence of alcohol and when he was pushed by his friend, he fell down on the ground that affected the sensitive part of his head, which proved fatal for him.

Rape attempt foiled
(Siasat News): An auto driver attempted to rape a minor girl but was failed to do so.

As per the details, the 8-year-old Muslim orphan girl, resident of Kurmaguda, Saeedabad. She was abducted by an auto driver and was forced to consume ‘sendhi’. Later, he brought the girl to Khaja Baug and there he tried to rape her.

Eyewitnesses said that after hearing the screams of the girl from nearby bushes, they tried to trace her. By that time, auto driver had fled the scene.

The priest of the temple Shiva Shankar Swamy had lodged a complaint in Shamshabad RGI police that as he had gone to his house in the afternoon because of the severe hot, the robbers must have taken this chance to commit the crime.

When he came back he found the costly Hanuman idol weighing 7 kilos, missing from the temple. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

(Siasat News): An enraged lover slit the neck of his beloved when she refused to marry him. As per the details, Sojanya, resident of Turkaguda village, Ibrahimpatnam, was in love with one Vijay Kumar, her close relative, since last one year.

Due to some reasons, Sojanya refused to marry him. This enraged Vijay and he wanted to take revenge. Today, he called Sojanya to a place and took her to another place on his bike and slit her neck with a blade.

Aged man murdered in Amberpet
(Siasat News): Another incident of murder took place at Ambedkar Nagar in Amberpet where an unidentified aged man was murdered.

People spotted the dead body in the bed of Musi river near a temple that was wrapped in a gunny bag. Police was immediately informed and Assistant Commissioner of Police Malakpet, Mr. Iqbal Siddiqui reached the spot and got the dead body out of the bag.

The deceased was about 60 and was killed by attack ob his head. Police suspect that he might have been killed during boozing.

Husband kills wife
(Siasat News): A heart-wrenching incident of murder took place in Amberpet where a husband killed his wife.

According to police, Shakira, 40 and her husband Syed Ibrahim, 45, had exchanged heated argument last night that turned violent when out of rage, Ibrahim attacked his wife with a hammer on her head killing her on the spot.

When neighbours spotted Shakira in a pool of blood, they informed the ambulance service and she was shifted to a hospital where she was declared dead.

Inspector Bowenpally Mr. R V Rangiah said that he got the information this morning that a decomposed body of a woman was found and he reached the spot with his team.

As the body was highly decomposed, the post mortem was done on the spot by forensic experts and collected some clues.

(Siasat News): A man who was mysteriously missing from Miyapur, police found his dead body from the rear portion of car near a temple.

As per the details, Deviah, 54, was a businessman and was the resident of Motinagar. He left his house in his car and did not return.

Rapist in judicial custody
(Siasat News): Bahadurpura police had arrested a youth for allegedly raping a nine-year-old girl, has sent him to judicial custody.

DCP, south zone, Mr. Tarun Joshi said that Arun Kumar, 20, has been working at water works in Golnaka. He was the resident of Kishanbaug. He had called the 9-year-old girl, his relative, to an abandoned house and committed the crime.

Mr. Tarun Joshi further said that any crime against women would be viewed seriously and women would be provided foolproof security.
