Passenger held with gold powder
(Siasat News): The custom officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport arrested a passenger with the 1 kg gold powder and seized the stuff.

According to the details, the passenger Sheikh Altaf Mohsin, native of Mumbai, reached Hyderabad from Muscat.

However, during the custom checking, the officials found 1 kg gold powder in his luggage as he could not satisfy the officials about the contraband, he was handed over Shamshabad custom office where the legal action would be taken.

(Siasat News): A woman who was in a financial crisis, took the extreme step of ending her life at Chaderghat.

Police sources said that Anusha, 27, was the wife of one Venkatesh of Osmanpura. She hanged herself to death in her house. Her husband was a driver in GHMC.

(Siasat News): An IT student was arrested by Begumpet police who lured a teenager girl through Social Networking Website Facebook and had made false promises of marrying her.

As per the details, one Narsing Rao, 20, befriended a girl through Facebook and promised to marry her. Not only this, he also asked her to borne the expenses of marriage by taking her gold ornaments.

DCM van went haywire, one dies
(Siasat News): The driver of a DCM van lost control near at Ring road near Rethi Bowli, causing the death of one persons and injuring other three.

Police said that the driver of the van was driving the vehicle towards the office of the water works situated in Laxmiguda.

However, in a bizarre situation, the driver suddenly lost the control of the van and it took a reversed turn where a contractor Mohd. Jameel, 48, resident of Tallagadda was hit by it.

Missing man’s dead body found
(Siasat News): Police has found the dead body of a man who was missing from Sanathnagar. It is said that the deceased D Jagan, 32, was a labour and has been residing at Padmavathi Nagar.

However, he went missing from December 3 from his house and didn’t come back. Police had launched a manhunt and ultimately his dead body was found in a pond situated in the locality.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Inter-state robbers gang unearthed
(Siasat News): The crime branch of Hyderabad city police and Panjagutta police in a joint operation unearthed the inter-state gang of robbers and dupers and arrested its kingpin.

In the meantime, additional deputy commissioner of police, task force Mr. B Limba Reddy said Mohd. Jameel Pasha, 33, resident of Santosh Nagar along with his friend Mohd. Rafiq, 30, resident of Shalibanda were involved in making fake CDs and DVDs of recently released Bollywood films and were selling them on a subsidized rate.

Lady doctor injected herself to death
(Siasat News): A lady doctor who hailed from Bhatinda, Punjab took the extreme step of ending her life.

According to the police, the deceased Shailaja Sharma, 31, was pursuing her Post Graduation course and has been living in a rented house at Mahindra Hills. Last night she took the poisonous injection all by herself and ended her life.

A case has been registered and police is trying to trace her relatives to ascertain the motive behind the suicide.

Passenger dies by heart attack at airport
(Siasat News): In a bizarre incident, a passenger died at Shamshabad airport when he suffered a massive heart attack.

According to the details, the passenger Durgadas Mishra, 50, reached Hyderabad from Bangalore by Jet airways. He was there at the airport premises to look for a ride to Raipur.

Just then he suffered a massive heart attack and died on the spot. Shamshabad RGI police has registered a case and investigations are on to trace his relatives.

Woman dies by snakebite
(Siasat News): A woman died when a snake bit her. This incident occurred in at Madanpally in Shamshabad.

According to the details, the deceased Balusa, 45, native of odisha who has been residing at Madanpally for quite some time.

Last night, snake entered her room from nearby bushed and bit her. She was immediately shifted to the hospital where she died during the treatment.

Doctors also confirme3d her death, as her entire body had turned blue. Shamshabad police has registered a case.

Two arrested at airport with gutkha and clothes
(Siasat News): custom officials at RGI airport arrested two persons with RMD gutkha and clothes in their possession.

According to the details, the two passengers Abdul Khaddar and Salim Abdullah, natives of Kerala, reached RGI. When custom officials checked their bags, they found sachets of gutkha worth Rs. 50,000 and the clothes used for making burqas and dupattas also worth Rs. 50,000.

Blast in scrap godown, 2 dead
(Siasat News): Two labours died in a blast occurred in a scrap godown situated at Subhash Nagar in Jeedimetla. As per the details, two labours Saroj and Subhash who hailed from Bihar have been busy cutting the chemical barrel.

(Siasat News): Jubilee Hills police has arrested a youth in connection with sexual harassment by him to a married woman. As per the details, the accused Avinash had come to his sister’s house two days ago.

He called a lady residing on the first floor and asked her to light the stove. However, when the said lady reached there, Avinash tried to molest her but she resisted and slapped him.

She immediately left the house and lodged a complaint with Jubilee Hills police against the youth and Avinash was arrested

(Siasat News): A bus belonging AP Tourism and was on its travel to Shridi, was looted by some dacoits near Ahmednagar in Maharashtra.

Masked man fled with big money
(Siasat News): A masked man duped a man in Shamshabad and fled with Rs. 1,00,000. As per the details, T Narsing Rao, 38, resident of R B Nagar, Shamshabad, had borrowed Rs. 1,00,000 from his friend Sreenu and coming back with the cash from Lalaguda to R B Nagar.

When he reached near Andhra Bank, a veiled man diverted his attention saying that some money had fallen from his pocket. Narsing was offered a piece of cloth to wrap the money.

Man arrested for traveling on fake passport
(Siasat News): The immigration officials of RGI airport arrested a passenger for traveling on fake passport and handed him over Shamshabad RGI police.

As per the details, the passenger Kalu Thingal, 55, native of Kerala and a driver by profession, had gone to Abu Dhabi for employment in 2005. He spent eight years there and this year he wanted to come back.
