Alcoholic kills wife
(Siasat News): An alcoholic husband when could not get money from his wife to have another bottle, killed her brutally and dumped the body is a sump and fled. Not only this, he also informed the murder of his wife to his daughter on phone.

This incident occurred in Meerpet where one Venkat Rao killed his wife Leela. This family were living in Tirumala Hills and hail from Khammam. Their son was looking for a job and the daughter is well-settled with her in-laws at Saroornagar.

Son commits suicide over parent’s death
(Siasat News): A student Vamshi Krishna, 19, was so upset over the death of his parents sometime back that he committed suicide. He was the resident of P & T colony, Dilsukhnagar.

Police sources said that his father Balram and mother had died some time back and Vamshi was very upset ever since. Yesterday, he took the extreme step of ending his life.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Youth drowns during swimming
(Siasat News): A youth drowned in Himayath Sagar during swimming. Though his friends tried to save him but all their efforts went in vain.

According to Rajendranagar police, the deceased Md. Irfan, 20, was the son of one Mohd. Moosa of Asifnagar, Mehdipatnam. Yesterday, Irfan along with his friends went to Himayath Sagar for swimming.

However, during the swimming he drowned. His friends tried to save his life and somehow brought him out of the water and carried him to a hospital where he died.

Furniture workshop gutted
(Siasat News): A furniture workshop gutted last night in a massive fire at Asifnagar. Police said that the workshop caught fire last night at 11.30 pm in which the entire furniture turned into ashes.

This incident sent panic waves in the neighbourhood where many residential buildings are located. However, the fire brigade controlled the fire in 5 hours.

Police suspect that the short circuit might be the reason of the inferno.

(Siasat News): The south zone team of commissioner task force has arrested two persons and seized pistol and cartridges from their possession and foiled their attempt to loot.

According to the details, C Madhu, 30, who is a computer hardware engineer, came to know about the transfer of the hawala money in the city.

Adulterated oil making unit raided
(Siasat News): The Pahadi Shareef police raided an adulterated edible oil making unit and seized 160 drums of edible oil and two trucks loaded with cow bones and skulls. Police took one Taher into custody.

The unit belongs to one Pappu Shetty, a resident of old city. Police said that adulterated edible oil was manufactured in the unit by using bones and skulls after boiling.

Acting on a tip-off police raided the unit and seized material worth Rs. 10 lakh.

House burgled
(Siasat News): The robbers made their escape good after looting gold ornaments and cash from a house in Kukatpally. The house belonged to one Saritha in KPHB.

The robbers entered the penthouse, broke the almirah and robbed gold ornaments and Rs. 50,000 in cash. Cyberabad police reached the spot with clues team and obtained finger prints of the robbers.

(Siasat News): A woman was strangulated to death at Madhuranagar in S R Nagar. The deceased was identified as Durgamma, 58 who was killed by unknown persons.

Police has recovered her dead body from the parking section of the apartment.

Police suspect that the crime might have been committed between late night and wee hours where the killers not only killed her but also took away her gold ornaments and threw the body.

Last night, he had received a phone call of his friend on his mobile and had gone out to meet but he never returned. People of the locality, spotted the dead body of Pradeep in a pool of blood and informed the police.

New bride burnt to death
(Siasat News): A new bride in Chaderghat accidentally got burnt and died. It is said that Sana, alias Anees Begum, 22, was the wife of one Shafi Khan of Fatima Nagar, Old Malakpet.

They got married just three months back. On April 27, she was busy in her kitchen and during the cooking, she accidentally got burnt. She was immediately shifted to the hospital where she died during the treatment.

Man dies on way to cast vote
(Siasat News): A 35-year-old private employee died in a road accident while he was going to the polling booth at Vanasthalipuram. The victim was identified as Srinivasulu from Laxmi Nagar in Ragannguda of Vanasthalipuram.

He was walking towards the polling booth when he was hit by an RTC bus when he was crossing the road. He died on the spot.

Vanasthalipuram police has registered a case against the bus driver and further investigations are on.

Two airlines passengers held
(Siasat News): A day after two passengers allegedly groped an Indigo air-hostess on board the aircraft, the RGI police on Sunday arrested the duo and would produce them before the court.

The arrested are Pavan Kumar Agarwal, 38, and Mohd. Feroz, 32. According to the police, as many as 20 passengers who deal with seed business, were on flight.

Two of them misbehaved with the airhostess when she was supplying drinking water.

Labour fell down from height, dies
(Siasat News): A labour fell down from the height of a building at Ramgopalpet in Secunderabad and died.

It is said that the deceased Rahul Kumar, 28, was a labour and has been living in Amberpet. On April 21, he was busy in some work in an under construction building at Venkat Rao Nagar.

During the work, he lost his balance and fell down from the 4th floor of the building in suspicious circumstances.

Childless woman commits suicide
(Siasat News): A woman hanged herself to death in her house situated in Girinagar as she remained childless two years after her marriage.

As per the details, M Vineela, 21, was married to one Ashok Raju two years ago. Though the couple wished to have kids, she could not conceive.

The deceased Vineela was depressed over this. On Tuesday, when Ashok went to work, she killed herself.
