Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments issued the dietcet/ deecet counselling notification for this year 2015. Deecet web options starts from 7/1/2015 to 10/1/2015.

As per news received almost 20,000 seats are available In Andhra Pradesh and also in Telangana 14,000 seats are available for DEECET. As per state division act ie.e Andhra Pradesh Re-organization Act, upto to 10 years, all the admissions should be done jointly. Officials stated that web counseling process will be held around for 270 private colleges.

AP TS row over eamcet may end up in court

The standoff between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State governments over conducting of common entrance test may end up in a legal battle between the two states.

Insisting to his stated position, Telangana Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy said if Andhra students want to pursue their educaztion in Telangana they have to appear for the Eamcet entrance test conducted by its government.

He alleged that the AP government has issued the Eamcet notification ‘unilaterally’ without having any talk with TS.

Godman held for molesting women

The Cyber Crime detective of Hyderabad police on Tuesday arrested Shoukath Hussain (25), a fake godman on account of harassing, extorting and blackmailing based on a complaint from the woman.

Central Crime Station booked a case againts Hussain, who is a computer hardware professional from Vellore in Tamil Nadu. Police have recovered a mobile phone and a sim cards from him.

In the appearance of a godman, Hussain had provided some fake medicine after meeting the victim several times and started harassing the woman saying that he would inform her husband about their meetings.

Govt to relocate Industries from Hyderabad limits

Delhi High Court dismisses PIL against Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’, says it isn’t offensive

The Delhi High Court Wednesday dismissed a PIL filed against Raj Kumar Hirani directed and Aamir Khan starrer film ‘PK’, saying “the film was not offensive”.

A division bench of Chief Justice G. Rohini and Justice R.S. Endlaw refused to entertain the plea which sought ban on the film for alleged derogatory remarks against Hindu gods, Hindu beliefs, faith and worship in the movie.

The bench said: “What was wrong in the movie? We don’t find anything offensive in it. We don’t find any substance in the plea.” The court said it will pass a detailed order on the plea later.

Malaysian PM Suffers Bacterial Infection After Flood Tour

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has contracted a bacterial infection and is resting at home after touring districts hit by the country’s worst flooding in decades, an aide said today.

Tengku Sharifuddin Tengku Ahmad, Najib’s press secretary, told AFP the prime minister became infected with E.coli after criss-crossing the flooded areas last month.

“The prime minister is resting at home,” he said in a text message without elaborating.

E.coli are a large and diverse group of bacteria and most strains are harmless.

11,500 startups to come up in India by 2020,

As many as 11,500 startups would come up in the country employing over 2,50,000 people by 2020, according to key findings of industry body Nasscom’s (National Association of Software and Services Companies) India Start-up Report 2014.

Unveiling the findings in Bangalore on Wednesday, Nasscom President R Chandrashekhar said 300 VC/PE (venture capital and private equity) and 225 angel investments deals amounting to over US $2 billion had been made in the country.

Chandrashekhar said over 20 mergers and acquisitions worth US $1 billion were done in the past three years.

Shoe thrown at Bihar CM Manjhi

A shoe was hurled at Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi during his weekly ‘Janata Durbar’ (public meeting) in Patna Monday but missed its target, police said, adding that the man who threw it has been arrested.

‘Janata Durbar’ is held every week at the chief minister residence here where he meets people and listens to their grievances. It was started by former chief minister Nitish Kumar in 2006.

The man has been identified as Amritosh Kumar, a resident of Saran district.

Will speak in language which India understands, Pak minister

Pakistan on Saturday appeared to threaten India with retaliation over the killing of its soldiers in cross-border firing, saying it will now “communicate in the language they understand”.

“In the past six-seven months, we have tried to better our ties with India so that peace can prevail. But it seems that they do not understand this language,” Defence minister Khawaja Asif told reporters outside the Parliament.

“I believe, we will now communicate with India in the language they understand,” he said.
