Railway unions from all over India are ready to gage PF fund, deposits of employees in order to stop foreign direct investment.

Police in Hyderabad have sounded a high alert ahead of December 6, the Anniversary of the demolition of the Babri Masjid.

Revised pay scale for Genco, Transco and Discoms employees

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao took a decision to enhance the pay of TS power employees. Employees of Genco, Transco and Discoms employees will get a revised pay scale with 30 per cent fitment.

Employees who have completed 15 years of service will get three increments and those with below 15 years service will get two increments. The revised scales and increments will be applicable to all the employees.

GITAM entrance test from April 20

A 10th class student beaten up with a cable wire by a tutor

Rohit reddy 14, a class 10th student, was badly beaten up with a cable wire by a tutor over his absence to class for last two days.

According to police, earlier parents, who are relatives of tutor have ask the tutor to rebuke the boy, however the students has received injury all over his limbs. Seeing the wounds parents immediately took the case to police station.

Police has registered a case under a section 324 IPC (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons) against the tutor.

Search operation by police in Begum Bazar

IIT Kharagpur officials said the salary package was among the 163 offers made by 27 visiting companies yesterday on the first day of campus placements.The highest domestic package was of Rs 42 lakh and highest offer from abroad was of $250,000 (Rs 1.54 crore), the officials said.

No recruitment for two Haryana molesters: Army

In line with its zero tolerance policy, the army will not go ahead with the recruitment process of two of the three alleged molesters onboard a moving Haryana roadways bus, who had cleared physical and medical tests for the force.

Army sources said the next step for the youths would have been a written test but since they have been booked under an FIR for such an act, they will be barred from further recruitment process.

Food Security and Pension cards will be issued from Jan 1

Telangana State Chief Minister,K.C.R has directed all the District collector to issue new Food Security Cards from January 1, and from new year every one must have new Food Security cards.

Showing unhappiness on delay for issuing FSC, and pension beneficiary, leading unnecessary confusion among people, CM ordered all District collectors to finish verification process for pension scheme by 15 Dec and food security by 31 Dec. Collectors themselves should check the quality of works on regular basis, he said.

Two lakh people afflicted with AIDS in Telangana State

As scary as it sounds on World AIDS day APSACS reported. Telangana has the fourth highest incidence of HIV in the country, with two lakh people afflicted with the deadly HIV.

APSACS officials said as many as 8.05 million condoms had been distributed across Telangana till October 2014. According to Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society report, Mahboob Nagar district stood first with HIV prevalence of 1.34 per cent, followed by East Godavari and Guntur with 0.83 per cent against the State’s mean of 0.61 p.c.

Student held for junior murder

A 21-year-old Satish Kodkar, arrested by Sultan bazaar police, who was on run for allegedly beating to death his junior KS Harshvardhan Rao when the latter objected to him on eve-teasing a girl.

Police picked him from Kachiguda station, and remanded a 14 day judicial custody. Victim Rao and Satish are students of Pragathi College, on Saturday, Rao objected Satish on eve-teasing of girl and when he tries to stop satish, hated aurgument broke between two in the class room.

Nepal devotees sacrifice thousands of animals in Gadhimai Mela ceremony

Hindu devotees in Nepal began slaughtering thousands of animals and birds in a ritual sacrifice on Friday, ignoring calls by animal rights activists to halt what they do as a ritual activity.

Gadhimai Festival, which happens every five years at the Gadhimai Temple of Bariyarpur in Nepal, is said to be the world’s third largest animal sacrificial slaughter.
