A new survey has revealed that men are likely to turn into their dads at the age 38.

The poll 2,000 men have identified 30 symptoms of becoming a grumpy paternal figure , which includes, having a “man drawer”, spending more time in the loo, laughing at your own jokes and escaping to the shed to avoid a row, the Mirror reported.

TV channel Gold found that 40 percent of men started napping in front of the telly before hitting 40, 28 percent claimed to have a special chair and 25 percent admitted dancing badly at parties and family gatherings.

The study included 966 mother-child pairs from the Childhood Autism Risks from Genetics and the Environment ( CHARGE ) Study, a population-based case-control study based at the University of California at Davis’ MIND Institute.

Researchers have said that young fathers are at an increased risk of depression.

Depressive symptoms increased on average by 68 percent over the first five years of fatherhood for these young men, who were around 25 years old when they became fathers and whom lived in the same home as their children.

This study is the first to identify when young fathers are at increased risk of developing depressive symptoms.

A man in the US who was wrongly locked up in prison for nearly 25 years has sued the state for USD 25 million, a million each for the years he spent behind bars.

Derrick Deacon who spent almost a quarter-century behind bars for a crime he did not commit, has hit the state with the USD 25 million lawsuit and hopes it will teach authorities a lesson about bending the rules to gain a conviction.

“These people have to pay for every day they made me suffer behind the wall for no reason,” Deacon, 58, who was freed last year by new evidence, told The New York Post.

The 33 year-old man was driving along the A259 in Roedean, near Brighton, Sussex, when his car went off the road and fell into the water, the Daily Express reported.

Men circumcised after 35 have 45 pc less risk of developing prostate cancer

A new study has revealed that men who are circumcised after the age of 35 are 45 percent less at risk of developing prostate cancer later in life.

The study by University of Montreal and the INRS-Institut-Armand-Frappier found that found that who were circumcised were 11percent less likely to later develop a prostate cancer compared to those who weren’t.

Marie-Elise Parent said that this proportion reflects what has been shown in other studies.

`Unlucky` US man accidentally throws away lottery tickets that won $1.25m

A man in Pennsylvania threw away 25 tickets that won 50,000 dollars each.

The unnamed man has been playing the same numbers now for ages and sometimes spent as much as 100 dollars a day on the tickets, E Canada now reported.

The man purchased the tickets having the numbers 4-3-4-1-8 on March 13, 2013.

According to a UK website, the man cannot collect on the tickets now as one year has passed. (ANI)

Half of people lie while sexting

About half of people sending sexts are actually lying, according to a new study.

And if you’re in a committed relationship, the sexts are even more likely to be fabricated than if you’re just having casual sex with your partner, CBS News reported.

In a study of 155 college students, Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne researchers found that 37 percent of people who had been in a committed relationship and 48 percent of active sexters had lied about what they were wearing, doing, or both.

As for casual sex partners, only 13 percent have lied.

Severity of prostate cancer undermined in half of tests

Scientists have revealed that prostate cancer tests, which predict how aggressive a tumour is, underestimate the severity of the disease in half of the cases.

In the study of 847 men with prostate cancer, 209 out of the 415 who were initially told their cancer was slow-growing, were found to have a more aggressive form of the disease, the BBC reported.

And for almost a third of the 415 men, it had spread beyond the prostate.

Scientists are calling for better tests to define the nature of the cancer.
