Washington, April 21 (ANI): Women at their peak fertility find the smell of men with higher testosterone levels more appealing, according to a new study.

In the new study, researchers tested how women”s sexual scent preferences changed depending on men”s levels of testosterone and cortisol.

Male volunteers were given T-shirts to wear for two consecutive nights, during which time they were prohibited from using scented soaps or detergents; drinking or smoking; or eating garlic, onion, green chiles, strong cheeses and other pungent foods.

MP minor rape victim critical, has brain injuries

Nagpur (Maharashtra), April 21 (ANI): Doctors at a private nursing home in Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Sunday said that the medical condition of the four-year-old girl who was raped in a village in Madhya Pradesh, remains critical, and added that she is suffering from brain injuries.

The girl was reportedly raped by a 35-year-old man identified as Firoz Khan on Wednesday. She was moved to the Nagpur nursing home by an air ambulance late on Saturday night, as her condition was described as “very critical”.

Islamabad, Apr. 21 (ANI): The Lal Masjid commission report has held former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf, former prime minister Shaukat Aziz and his political allies, responsible for the 2007 operation on the mosque in which 103 people were killed. The commission, consisting of Justice Shehzada Sheikh of the Federal Shariat Court (FSC), recommended that those responsible for the operation should have murder cases registered against them and suggested that the former rulers of the country should be forced to pay compensations to the aggrieved families, reports The Dawn.

Syrian troops recapture 5 strategic towns near Lebanese borders

Beijing, Apr. 21 (Xinhua-ANI): The Syrian troops reseized five towns in central strategic Homs province near the borders with Lebanon and repelled rebels attack against a military airport, killing over 100 militants, the pro-government al-Watan daily said Sunday.

After “heavy blow,” the army recaptured several rebel-held towns around the town of al-Qussair in the Homs province, the paper said.

Also, the Syrian army ambushed rebels trying to storm the al- Daba”a airfield near al-Qussair, killing more than 100 of them.

Death toll rises to 186 in China quake

Beijing, Apr. 21 (Xinhua-ANI): Death toll has risen to 186 in the earthquake in southwest China”s Sichuan Province, according to latest statistics gathered by the provincial emergency response command center.
