Singer Selena Gomez reportedly ignored Justin Bieber when they found themselves at the same party here.

According to a source, Gomez was too busy with her friends and Ed Sheeran to “engage” with the “Boyfriend” crooner.

“Justin and Selena saw each other and didn’t engage whatsoever. Selena was too busy enjoying herself with Ed and her girlfriends.

“Selena came with Ed and left with him shortly after Justin arrived. It was obvious she wanted to avoid any drama,” a source told pagesix.com.

Earthquake of 5.6 magnitude rattles Pakistan, Afghanistan

An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan on Tuesday, media reported.

The epicentre of the quake was recorded at the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

The tremors were felt across Punjab province, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the capital city of Islamabad, Geo News reported. Tremors were also felt in the border areas of Afghanistan.

No casualty or damage to property has been reported so far.

TDP MLA Revanth Reddy cannot leave his constituency Kodangal

Telugu Desam Party MLA Revanth Reddy was granted bail by the Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday, in connection with the cash-for-vote scam.

“The bail has been granted on some conditions. He will not leave the constituency of Kodangal and he should deposit his passport along with Rs. five lakh. And also he has to cooperate with the investigation,” said the lawyer.

Reddy was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on May 31.

Apple to release iOS 8.4 and Beats 1 today

Apple has announced that it will launch its new music service, iOS 8.4 and the Beats 1 radio station on June 30. According to the CNET, Ian Rogers, the former CEO for Beats and a current senior director for Apple Music, in a blog post revealed the timing of the launch.

Australian engineer develops robot that can build house on two days

An Australian engineer has developed a robot that lays 1,000 bricks an hour – fast enough to construct a house in about two days, or nearly 150 houses a year.

The robot works by creating a 3D computer-aided design (CAD) laying programme of a house or structure, then calculates the location of every brick and creates a programme that is used to cut and lay the bricks in sequence from a single, fixed location.

The robot uses its 28-foot-long arm to put bricks in place and secures them with mortar, ‘Popular Science’ reported.

Three killed in last 48 hours in Etah

Three persons, including two women, have been killed in separate incidents in the district during last 48 hours, police said today.

In the first incident, two bike-borne miscreants shot dead Narendar Singh (26), a veterinary doctor, near Kanakpur village under Bagwala police station yesterday. Singh was a resident of Gola Sarjanpur under same police station.

The bikers fired upon Singh while he was going for treatment of an animal. He died on his way to hospital, police said, adding, an FIR in this connection was lodged by the victim’s father against two unidentified persons.

28 killed in ISIS attack in Yemen capital

At least 28 people, including eight women, were killed in an attack carried out by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) on two Houthi rebel leaders in Yemen’s capital Sanaa last night.

According to a security source, the car bombing targeted Houthi rebel chief brothers Faycal and Hamid Jayache during a gathering organised to mourn the death of a family member, reported The Guardian.

Houthi rebels shut down the surrounding city centre after the attack allowing only emergency services to evacuate the victims, witnesses said.

Low-cost IT workers in India are populating what have been described as “click farms” in fake internet traffic to help British companies boost their online presence, according to a media report.

An investigation by ‘The Times’ newspaper found that western companies are being offered packages costing as little as $1 per 1,000 clicks to increase internet traffic or purchase 1,000 to 10,000 Facebook “likes” or Twitter followers.

Autorickshaws collided, two injured
(Siasat News): Two speeding autorickshaws collided near Osmania University resulting in the injuries of two persons.

In the meantime, sub-inspector University police station Mr. Saidulu said two autorickshaws coming from opposite direction collided with each other girl’s hostel in which an autorickshaw overturned.

An autorickshaw driver sustained severe injuries on his head who is identified as one Giri of Uppuguda. He is under treatment at Gandhi Hospital.

A few months ago, a cheque of Rs. 75,000 issued to a Mumbai businessman was repeatedly being returned and he instructed his lawyers to file a case under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1882.

But the businessman, J.P. Vaghani, a partner of J.P. Electronics, a giant consumer electronics distributor in north Mumbai, was aghast at the lawyer’s response.

“You can no more file the cheque bouncing case in Borivali (suburb) under Section 138 of the Act. It must be filed and fought in Kurla, the location of the bank from where it was dishonoured,” advocate Mehul S. Shah advised.

Indonesian military plane crashes in ball of flames

An Indonesian military transport plane crashed today shortly after take-off in a city on Sumatra island, exploding in a ball of flames in a residential area.

There was no immediate information on the number of people on board or any casualties on the ground after the Hercules plane went down in the city of Medan.

Dramatic pictures on social media showed large crowds and emergency services gathering around the flaming wreckage, with the fuselage of the aircraft visible among thick plumes of black smoke. Buildings in the vicinity of the crash zone were also clearly damaged.

Defence Ministry Raises Rs. 500 Crore Bill for Flood Assistance to Jammu and Kashm

The Defence Ministry has raised a bill of Rs. 500 crore for its assistance to Jammu and Kashmir government for carrying out relief and rescue operations during the floods that battered the valley last year.

The Defence Ministry was paid Rs. 500 crore by the Union government as the amount was adjusted from the Rs. 1602.56 crore assistance given to the state government from its share in the National Disaster Relief Fund (NDRF) for dealing with the floods last September.
