The American reality star posted her picture on Instagram and wrote that after reviewing the weight loss results she actually realize how exercise has changed her life and how unhealthy her lifestyle was, ABC News reported.

The 30-year-old TV personality added that she still wouldn’t consider herself as “completely fab” from fat and hits the gym four to five times a week, and asked her fans to start living a healthy lifestyle.

PM Modi accepts Pachauri’s resignation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accepted the resignation of Dr. R.K. Pachauri from the PM’s Council on Climate Change.

Pachauri’s resignation comes in the wake of him facing allegation of sexual harassment from a woman employee.

Mukul Roy sacked as TMC gen secretary

Trinamool Congress leader Mukul Roy on Saturday was relieved from his position as party general secretary by the All India Trinamool Working Committee.

This move comes days after Roy had been removed as the leader of the TMC in the Rajya Sabha . Subrata Bakshi has been appointed as the new general secretary in his place.

FM proposes several social welfare schemes aimed at ensuring better financial security

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday proposed several social welfare initiatives that the government will undertake to ensure better financial security of the citizens.

“A large proportion of India’s population is without insurance of any kind – health, accidental or life is worrying, as our young population ages, it is also going to be pension-less. We are going to work towards creating a universal social security system for all Indians, specially the poor and the under-privileged,” Jaitley said while presenting the union budget.

Budget has nothing for farmers, youth and unemployed: Mulayam

Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Saturday expressed his disappointment over the Union Budget, saying that it does not take care of the farmers, the youth and the unemployed.

“This budget has not taken care of farmers, youth and unemployed, which should have been done. The Prime Minister himself had said that the country cannot move forward without the farmers. Nothing is there in the budget for farmers. Poverty increases because of unemployment,” Yadav said.

Corporate tax to be reduced, GST to be implemented, says Jaitley

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday said that to give a fillip to growth, investment and promotion of domestic manufacturing and ‘Make in India’, aiming at job creation, a series of measures are included in the budget.

He also said that a Tax ‘pass through’ is proposed to be allowed to both Category-I and Category-II Alternative Investment funds, so that tax is levied on investors in these funds and not on the funds per se.

Govt emphasis on job creation to create millions of jobs

With the government putting strong emphasis on job creation, experts today said measures proposed in the Union Budget can help in creating millions of employment opportunities in the coming years.

Global management consultancy Hay Group India Managing Director Nitin Razdan said, “Jobs and hiring in India needs to shift from being ‘qualification based’ to being ‘skill based’ as this will ensure that even the educational institutions will focus on imparting skills that lead to employability, rather than doling out certificates and degrees”.

Cop arrested on attempt to rape a women

Srinivas an Armed Reserve (AR) constable from Kadapa district, who reportedly tried to sexually assault a woman in Keesara mandal on Thursday was taken into custody by the police. However, the woman escaped with the help of locals and lodged a complaint with Keesara police.

According to police, Srinivas who came to Dammaiguda and the woman became friends. He took her in an autorickshaw to an isolated place near to Godumakunta-Cheeryal stretch and tried to rape her.

Drone raid kills three Qaeda militants in Yemen: tribe

A drone strike today killed three Al-Qaeda militants in Yemen, a tribal source said, in a region where the United States is the only country operating the unmanned aircraft.

The raid “targeted a vehicle in which three members of Al-Qaeda were riding in the village of Bijan, in Shabwa province,” the source said.

All three were killed, and their bodies burnt.

Yemen has descended into chaos since a Shiite militia overran the capital in September.

Women BSF cadre set out on month-long camel safari

In a laudable initiative, women cadre of the paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) have set out on a month-long camel safari to spread the message of women empowerment and raise awareness about the hardships faced by the force.

The BSF has tied up with Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) for the expedition, which will be led by Bachendri Pal, the first Indian woman to climb Mount Everest- the highest mountain peak on Earth.

A total of 20 women are participating in the expedition, a part of BSF’s Golden Jubilee celebrations.
