The Palestinian health ministry said Sunday that at least 1,712 Palestinians have been killed since Israel launched its offensive in the Gaza Strip against Hamas July 8.

The Telangana Government on Saturday issued a GO on Saturday constituting the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE).
The GO has been issued under Section 101 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. In its order, the Telangana Government contended that as per the Reorganisation Act, it was empowered to make adaptions and modifications of any law made in united Andhra Pradesh. A 47-year-old man committed suicide after he was caught trying to molest a minor girl.
According to Banjara Hills police, the deceased, D Satyanarayana, allegedly took a minor girl of the same locality on the terrace of his house in Indira Nagar of Banjara Hills on July 30. While he was trying to molest her, the girl’s mother incidentally came to the terrace and raised an alarm. Felt insulted after being caught for his actions, he immediately jumped down from the terrace on the second floor.
A 10-year-old girl was killed and six other members of her family were injured when the car they were travelling in was hit by another car coming from opposite direction.
According to Kottur police, the accident occurred on Friday evening near Vinayak Steel Company on NH 44 when the family was returning from Jahangir Peer Dargah to their residence in Bhavani Nagar. The girl, Sania Begum (10) an student Daughter of Shaik Shabbir who suffered grievous injuries was immediately rushed to the Niloufer Hospital where she succumbed a few hours after admission.

According to SR Nagar police, the deceased, T Kishan, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in BK Guda on Friday night. He was searching for a suitable job for the last few months and the failure to get employment is suspect to have driven him to suicide.

A 30-year-old man died on the spot after he was hit by a MMTS train between Uppuguda and Falaknuma Railway Stations on Friday evening. The deceased was later identified as Md Haneef, a hotel worker and resident of Ghulam Murtuza Chavni, according to Kachiguda Railway Police.
A 35-year-old woman, who was brutally beaten up by her husband, succumbed to the injuries at the hospital.
According to Kalwakurthy police, the shocking incident occurred on July 30 when the accused, Niranjan, hit her wife V Lakshmamma on the head with a wooden block at their residence in Kalwakurthy. The incident reportedly took place in the presence of their three daughters. She was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where she died on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment.
