Muhammad Abdul Muqueet Chanda district president TRS Minority Cell has been appointed as Sadasivapet Mandal incharge. This move has been taken in view of MP bye elections to be held in Medak district. He will stay in Medak along with Ghouse Ali vice president, Ahmed Patel General Secretary, Obaid Ali and Shahnawaz Pasha and others for 12 days and will work for the victory of TRS in bye elections to be held for Lok Sabha MP. Muhammad Abdul Muqueet Chanda expressed hope that TRS candidate would win the MP election.

Love-jihad case:Rakibul Hussain supplied girls to high profile people, says Jharkhand Police

Making a shocking revelation in Tara Shahdeo’s alleged Love-jihad case, the national shooter’s husband Ranjeet Kumar Kohli alias Rakilbul Hussain has told the Jharkhand Police during the investigation that he used to supply girls to some top-notch people, as per reports on Saturday.

Hussain, when probed by the police, said that a room in Ranchi hotel and two flats in a multi-storeyed building were booked throughout to provide services to some elite customers.

Naya Ventures, a $50 million start-up entrepreneur-venture fund, is set to invest in seven companies in India in the next one to two years.

Founded by Dayakar Puskoor, who owned P&L for the Hosting and Mobility Solutions business at Microsoft, it is looking to invest in the firms in incubation, development and management of new mobility, cloud and big data solutions.

Dayakar believes Indian entrepreneurs have to get the right product-market fit to go global. They need support of sales and marketing partners to access global market.

A schoolgirl in Hisar was found dead under mysterious circumstances, after being allegedly stalked by some youths, police said on Saturday.

The 15-year-old girl, a class 9 student, was allegedly stalked by some youths when she had gone to meet a friend of her, they said.

The gang of four youths passed lewd remarks and later on some villagers intervened to help the girl to let her go.

After the incident, she feared that the entire village had come to know about it and apparently developed a sense of guilt. On Thursday, the girl was found dead in her village in Hisar, police said.

With the assistance of a web camera and software algorithms, scientists demonstrated that subtle changes in skin colour can be used to detect the uneven blood flow caused by atrial fibrillation.

“This technology holds the potential to identify and diagnose cardiac disease using contact less video monitoring,” said Jean-Philippe Couderc from University of Rochester’s heart research follow-up program.

Massive solar flare can damage communications on Earth

The most powerful solar flare ever is beginning to rotate to a position directly in line with Earth that, if it hits the ground, can send GPS and communication signals out of gear, the NASA reported.

The sun is going through an 11-year cycle which at its peak is called a solar storm maximum.

“These solar flares are powerful bursts of radiation that can disturb the atmosphere in the layer where GPS and communications signals travel,” said NASA spokesperson Karen Fox.

Some of the flares spewing from the sun’s surface can be at least 14 times the size of Earth.

Indian American scientist invented e-mail 32 years ago

Know who is the inventor of e-mail? The credit goes to an Indian American V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai who received official recognition as the inventor of the computer program for electronic mail system from the US government Aug 30, 1982.

Studying at Livingston High School in New Jersey, Ayyadurai began his work on the email system for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

In 1978, he developed a full-scale emulation of the interoffice mail system which he called “E-mail” and copyrighted in 1982.

Actor-rapper Nick Cannon, who has recently separated from wife Mariah Carey, prefers to be with women who know exactly what they want.

Popular Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who is making his debut in Bollywood with the remake of ‘Khoobsurat’, a cult comedy of the 80s, says his entry into Hindi films was not pre-planned and hence he was nervous facing the new world of cinema here.

“I did not have preconceived notions about Bollywood. (But) There was nervousness as I was to enter and be part of a different world of entertainment which I have not experienced,” Fawad said in an interview here.

Kesari Bhat

Ingredients:

1 tblsp cashewnuts

1 tblsp raisins

1 cup basmati rice

1 tblsp pure ghee

1/2 tsp green cardamom powder

1/2 cup sugar

25 gms sugar crystals

saffron few strands

How to make kesari bhaat :

Soak rice for half an hour.

Heat up ghee in a pan, fry raisins and cashewnuts, remove and keep aside.

In the same ghee mix in rice and stir fry till rice starts separating.

Dissolve saffron in warm water and keep aside.

Mix in 11/2 cup of boiling water to the rice and mix in saffron water and let it cook.

Tensions prevail in Muzaffarnagar after protests over death of four youths

Tension prevailed after four students from a community were beaten up by a group of people in Jat colony here, sparking protests.

The trouble started when the four youths had gone for tuition classes in the colony last evening.

A group of people allegedly attacked them claiming that they were indulging in eve-teasing, police said.

The boys were rescued by the police and were admitted to hospital.

Irate protesters laid a siege at a police station demanding action against those who had beaten up the boys.

Free health camp conducted by KSDB in Sira

Karnataka Slum Development Board(KSDB), Mahatma Gandhi Rural Development Trust and Youth Welfare Centre jointly conducted a free health camp here at Govt. Urdu primary school, Begum Mohalla on August 14.

Ingredients

1 medium sized onion- chopped

1 pod of garlic

1/2″ piece of ginger

1 Tbsp badishap (fennel seeds)

2 Tbsp coriander seeds

1 Tbsp zeera

6-7 cloves

3 red chillies

1 Tbsp dry coconut

5-6 pepper corns

1/2 bada elaichi

1 green elaichi

1″ cinnamon stick

1 cup dry white peas- soaked for 8 hours

Method

Heat oil in a pan

Saute onions till brown and keep aside.

Roast all dry ingredients till brown.

Mix ginger, garlic, sauteed onions and roasted ingredients together.

‘Gate Mitra’ at Vulnerable 85 Rail Crossings in Delhi Division

Stepping up efforts to prevent accidents at unmanned level crossings, Northern Railway has deployed 85 personnel known as “Gate Mitras” to educate road users at vulnerable rail crossings in Delhi Division.

Gate Mitras have been deployed at unmanned level crossings to educate road users to use the crossings safely, said Northern Railway General Manager Pradeep Kumar while launching the new Time Table 2014-15 in New Delhi.

The new Time Table will be effective from September 1.

Noida: Seven Killed in Road Accident

Seven persons were killed and a two-year-old child injured when a car ran over three persons before crashing into a divider near a hotel in Greater Noida on Friday.

Six persons, including the two-year-old child, were returning from Noida in a Wagon R car at around 10.30 PM when the car hit three persons who were crossing the road near Radisson Blu hotel.

The car later rammed into divider and overturned.The three pedestrians died on the spot. One of them was identified as Rahul.
