Kate Middleton is reportedly looking for a nanny o look after Prince George while she tends to royal visits and duties.

Kate, 32, and Prince William, 31, who vowed to look after Prince George by themselves, are said to be scouting for a full-time nanny , the Daily Star reported.

N Korea test-fires four missiles to coincide with S. Korea-US joint military exercises

North Korea has test-fired four short-range missiles into the sea~ The move from the highly secretive country is an apparent show of force to coincide with South Korea-US joint military exercises, Seoul’s defence ministry said.

According to news.com.au, a ministry spokesman said the missiles were fired off the east coast of North Korea.

North Korea carries out short-range missile tests on a fairly routine basis.

The South Korea -US drills kicked off on Monday, despite vocal opposition from Pyongyang, which views them as rehearsals for invasion, the report added. (ANI)

Iran’s Foreign Minister says country will not close nuclear program under duress

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has reportedly said that Iran’s nuclear program will remain intact.

Speaking to reporters, Zarif commented that the country will not close any program.

According to the Washington Times, Iran had agreed to a temporary freeze on enriching uranium in November, that according to US President Barack Obama was to simply put, [the deal cuts] off Iran’s most likely paths to a bomb.

A new hi-tech wristband reportedly uses the wearer’s pulse as a password to authenticate a number of devices and applications.

Startup Bionym has developed Nymi, a wristband that uses wearer’s pulse to authenticate devices and applications that require iron-clad security.

According to TechHive, Bionym has been developing iOS and Android apps for things like password management, car and computer access, and even a Bitcoin wallet and using pulse authentication could make using all these things a lot easier.

Three militants killed in Pak

At least three militants were killed Friday in firing between security personnel and rebels in Pakistan’s Khyber Agency.

Security officials tried to stop a “suspicious vehicle” in Shlobar area of Khyber Agency, but when it did not stop, they opened fire at it, Dawn online reported citing its sources.

The sources said two security personnel were among three people injured in the exchange of fire.

HC reserves verdict on foreign funding to Congress, BJP

The Delhi High Court Friday reserved its verdict on a plea against the Congress and the BJP, seeking directions for a probe into donations allegedly taken by the parties from subsidiaries of Britain-based Vedanta Group.

Justice Pradeep Nandrajog and Justice Jayant Nath reserved the verdict after all the parties concluded their arguments.

The Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress claimed that Vedanta Resources is not a foreign company and, therefore, no law has been violated.

Cabinet approves President’s Rule in Andhra Pradesh

The Union Cabinet on Friday decided to impose President’s Rule in Andhra Pradesh, which is being split to create the new state of Telangana.

The state has been without a chief minister after N. Kiran Kumar Reddy resigned from the post and the Congress Party to protest against the passage of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill, 2013, which paved the way for the creation of the new state of Telangana.

Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan had recommended for a spell of central rule after Reddy’s resignation.

Junior women’s hockey nationals in Mysore

The fourth edition of the Hockey India Junior Women’s National Championship, to be played in Mysore March 5-23, will see two new teams in Hockey Gangpur-Odisha and Vidarbha Hockey Association.

Overall 32 teams will be participating in the championship which will be played on league-cum-knockout basis at the Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Mysore.

The championship will be played in two phases in Divisions A and B. There will be 16 teams each competing in both divisions. Division B will be played March 5-13 and Division A March 15-23.

A Pakistani legislator has reportedly accused his co-parliamentarians of indulging in immoral activities such as adultery, Mujras (dance parties) and consumption of alcohol and drugs.

Jamsheed Khan Dasti, a young independent legislator from Pakistan’s southern Punjab claimed that such activities had become a custom at the parliament lodges, a block of flats that houses scores of MPs.

A sprawling bungalow on Motilal Nehru Place will be the abode of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh once he retires after the Lok Sabha elections.

The 3, Motilal Nehru Place type VIII bungalow, spread over 2.5 acres, was vacated by former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit recently.

The four-bedroom bungalow with well maintained lawns and office space meets the requirement of a former Prime Minister.

“Some work has to be undertaken at the bungalow before the VIP moves here and CPWD has been given the responsibility for it,” said a senior Urban Development Ministry official.

Man arrested for sexually abusing daughters

A 48-year-old man was arrested today on charges of sexually assaulting and harassing his three daughters, police said.

Aseerwatham was arrested following complaints from his daughters about the sexual abuse and harassment, police said.

He had also impregnated one of his mentally challenged daughters twice and later aborted, police said, adding, he was remanded to judicial custody.

BJP’s rail blockade hits train services in Bihar

Train services were disrupted in Bihar early Friday as the opposition BJP, protesting the denial of special category status to the state by the Congress-led UPA government at the centre, resorted to a rail blockade, police said.

Over two dozen trains, including Rajdhani Express, were forcibly halted by Bharatiya Janata Party workers. Hundreds of passengers were stranded at different railway stations in the state, said Ravinder Kumar, additional director general of police.

Rahul Gandhi to hold road show in Uttar Pradesh

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi arrives here Friday on a two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh and will hold a road show in the state.

The Gandhi scion will land at the Amausi airport here after which he will interact with a group of editors at a five-star hotel and then hold a road show in the city.

76 percent of America’s Internet users believe Internet good for society: Poll

A majority of Americans, 76 percent of them, reportedly believe that internet has been a good thing for society, according to a mega poll of how Americans use and feel about the Internet by Pew.

The poll that was released on the 25th anniversary of Tim Berners-Lee’s historic paper conceptualizing the World Wide Web concluded that 87 percent of Americans now use the internet, out of which, 46 percent of net users said that they would find it very hard or impossible to give it up.

Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen has reportedly said that the Federal Reserve does not have authority to supervise or regulate Bitcoin in any way.

Making the remarks in front of the Senate, Yellen said that Bitcoin was a payment innovation that was taking place entirely outside the banking industry and asked Congress to work on the issue.

One Spider-man movie to be made every year until 2017

Sony Pictures has revealed plans to release a Spider-man film starring every single year until at least 2017, including two actual sequels to 2012’s ‘The Amazing Spider-man’.

The action will kick off with The Amazing Spider-man 2, which is due for UK release on April 18, followed by 2015’s The Sinister Six – which will no doubt feature the character battling the Marvel Comics supervillain team, according to Variety.
