Text book distribution among the students in Koratla, Kareemnagar

(Siasat News) Medha Charitable Trust, Hyderabad distributed text books of Urdu and Telugu Medium junior college students of Koratla. In all 450 students got the text books. Cordoning of Golf court in Golconda: Many Farmers effected

(Siasat News) Mr. Mohammed Amanullah Khan and Mr. Mujahid Hashmi leader of Awami Majlis-e-Amal in a press statement told that with the cordoning of Golf court many poor farmers have been deprived of their livelihood. They have been cultivating these lands for several generations, spreading over 250 years. For this work court orders and the regulations of the Dept. of Archeology have also been set-aside. Golf Association has grabbed Masjid Mustafa Khan, treating it as a palace. The local residence had opposed it. Many high officials and rich persons are the members of Golf Association.

Demand to include state local cadre officers in the process of formation of Telangana

(Siasat News) Telangana Group-I Officers’ Association has demanded the Govt. to transfer Seema Andhra Employees working in Telangana Region on the basis of their native districts since most of them are working here under non-local quota which is causing an injustice to Telangana people. In case the number of posts in Seema Andhra is increased, supernumerary posts should be created.

No action on Airport user charges

(Siasat News) Despite the notification by the state Govt. for given 50% exemption in Airport user charges to the Haj pilgrims, no action has been taken by the GMR Co. so far. It is said that due to financial problems in the company, GMR has refused to exempt this charges. The state Govt. had declared that if GMR Co. does not reduced user charges, the state Govt. will bear it. A sum of Rs. 78 lakh were promised to be released to meet this expenses. Now that the Haj pilgrims have started coming back has not release the funds. Govt. of A.P. had written a letter to GMR Co.

Open SSC and Intermediate supplementary exams

(Siasat News) Open SSC and Open Intermediate supplementary examinations which were scheduled to be held from 3rd October were postponed due to the agitation of Seema Andhra Employees. Mr. N. Venkateshwara Rao, Consultant of the Examinations told that these examinations will now be held from 18th to 29th November. Intermediate practical examinations will be held from 30th November to 2nd December. There will be one paper daily from 9 am to 12 noon for theory examination of Intermediate.

World Agricultural Forum Congress and Agritech trade fair in city

CM, Naidu and Jagan are putting hurdles in formation of Telangana

He told that Congress and TDP compromised with TRS during the last election for the formation of separate Telangana state but later these parties deviated from their stands. Dr. Y.S. Injured suspect in Patna serial blasts dead

A suspect in the serial blasts that hit the Bihar capital last Sunday and who was seriously injured in a bomb explosion at the Patna railway station, Ainul alias Tarique, died due to his injuries at a hospital here, police said.

“Ainul died late Thursday,” said a police official.

Arun Kumar, director of the Patna-based Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, where Ainul was admitted with splinter injuries to his brain, confirmed that he was dead.

“After battling for life for over five days, he succumbed to serious injuries in his brain,” Kumar said.

US Air Force drone crashes in New Mexico

The US Air Force confirmed Thursday that one of its Predator drones crashed near a military base in New Mexico Wednesday during a training exercise.

No one was injured and no private property was affected in the incident.

The crash happened on the White Sands Missile Range from Holloman Air Force Base near Alamogordo Wednesday. The base is the home of the 49th Wing of the Air Combat Command, which provides combat-ready Airmen, F-22 Raptors, and trains MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper pilots and sensor operators, Xinhua reported.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan says his one-year-old daughter Aaradhya got pally with co-star Aamir Khan while they were shooting for ‘Dhoom 3’ in Chicago.

Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai’s daughter Aaradhya and Aamir and Kiran Rao’s son Azad were in Chicago on the set of ‘Dhoom 3’, as their fathers were shooting.

“When we were shooting for ‘Dhoom 3’, I remember Aaradhya had come on the sets and Aamir spent an entire evening with her. She is very fond of him. She liked him and is also pally with him,” Abhishek said.

Karan Johar back with ‘Koffee with Karan’

Producer-director Karan Johar is all set to return to the small screen with the fourth season of his popular chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’.

Man held for impersonating IAS officer Shah Faesal

A man who would impersonate 2010 IAS topper Shah Faesal to get favours from officials of Jammu and Kashmir government was arrested by police today.

“Police had received information that for the last two months several officers of the state were receiving calls from a mobile number and the caller used to identify himself as Dr. Shah Faesal. He used ask for some favours from officers,” a police spokesman said.

He said an FIR under section 66 IT Act was registered in police station Saddar and investigation started.

Force India looks for India encore in Abu Dhabi

UP riots: BSP MLA gets bail

A local court today granted bail to BSP MLA Maulna Jameel, arrested for his alleged role in inciting communal riots in Muzaffarnagar.

Jameel was arrested yesterday on the outskirts of the city after evading the police for over a month.

Chief Judicial Magistrate K P Singh gave bail to the BSP legislator on furnishing two personal sureties for Rs 20,000 each.

The legislator, against whom non-bailable warrant was issued over a month ago, is an MLA from Meerapur constituency of Muzaffarnagar.

Iraq PM urges global fight on Al-Qaeda

Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki today pleaded for a major international effort to combat Al-Qaeda and terror networks, likening the fight to a third world war.

In Washington for a series of meetings hoping to drum up more support for Iraq, Maliki said that with US help his country had defeated Al-Qaeda.

But now with the vacuum created by the toppling of long-standing regimes during the Arab Spring, “the terrorists found a second chance.”

Iraq attacks, including car bombs, kill 26

Five car bombs north of Baghdad killed 19 people today, while attacks elsewhere in Iraq left seven more dead, officials said, the latest casualties in a nationwide spike in unrest.

The attacks, which wounded dozens, come as Iraq witnesses its worst violence since 2008, a surge in bloodshed that has killed more than 5,400 people this year despite authorities having carried out a swathe of operations and implemented tightened security measures.

Nurse shot at, stabbed by gang; relieved of 11 sovereign chain

A nurse in a government hospital was shot at and stabbed at her residence here by some persons, who escaped after relieving her of her 11 sovereign gold chain, police said.

She was hospitalised with two bullets lodged in her body, one of which was removed. She has been referred to the government hospital in Madurai for further treatment, they said.

Police said the woman was alone at home when some persons barged into the house from the rear side, shot and stabbed her before fleeing with her chain.

Policeman arrested, 6 suspended over deadly shooting in China

A Chinese policeman was arrested after he allegedly shot a woman dead and injured another in China’s southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Head of Pingnan County’s public security bureau, where the policeman worked, as well as five other lower-ranking police officers, were suspended from their duties for investigation yesterday, according to officials.

The policeman surnamed Hu, who was reportedly drunk, went to a rice noodle shop to buy food and shot and injured the female shop owner surnamed Wu and her husband after a brawl.
