Pak women cricket captain applauds team’s performance

The captain of the Pakistani women’s cricket team, Sana Mir, has said their team has reached new heights.

In an interview with PakPassion.net, Mir said that few years ago, they never even managed to get into winning positions against the top teams, but they have now improved to the point that they can set the challenge of managing the pressure situations.

The 27-year-old said that Pakistan Cricket Board has always assigned coaches to the Women”s team.

She added if there is any financial support available for women”s sport in Pakistan, it will be given to women”s cricket.

Wasim Akram has got engaged to a former public relations consultant from Melbourne after proposing her on his knee.

Pak actress Meera plans to open charity hospital in mother’s name

Pakistani film actor Meera has announced that she will be constructing a charity hospital in the name of her mother in Haroonabad, which will cater to a million residents of the area.

The hospital, Darul Shafqat, is aiming to provide low-cost health care in District Bahawalnagar and the nearby rural areas, the Express Tribune reported.

As per the initial plans, the hospital will o be constructed on the land donated by people in Haroonabad, and is going to be equipped with over five hundred beds.

19-year-old Jyoti Amge, who is from Nagpur, India, is just 2ft tall and is totally dwarfed by Moroccan Brahim Takioullah’s 1ft 3in feet, the Mirror reported.

Amge’s feet measure 3.72 inches, about four times smaller than those of Takioullah, who at 8ft 1in, is also the world’s second tallest man.
