Working with actors like Dhanush, Zeeshan Ayyub and Swara Bhaskar in “Raanjhanaa” has left Sonam Kapoor with good friendships to cherish.

“I made good friends, very good relationships. The kind of friends I made in Zeeshan, Swara and Dhanush, Himanshu (writer Himanshu Sharma), I don’t think I’ll be able to make such good friends again. The chemistry shows in the film,” Sonam said here Wednesday in an interview.

Sonam says as much as the audience enjoyed the witty one-liners by by Dhanush, Zeeshan and Swara in the movie, she also loved them.

Zeenat Aman in gay love story

Veteran actress Zeenat Aman is back, this time in the sequel to the gay film “Dunno Y…Na Jaane Kyun”. She will play a Pakistani woman in the movie.

The film’s main lead Kapil Sharma confirms Zeenat’s presence in the sequel to the controversial 2010 film, but he is tightlipped about the film and the part that Zeenat plays.

“Zeenatji plays Nazneen, a beautiful, dignified and liberal Pakistani lady. Her character binds the story together,” said Sharma, who will be seen with Yuvraj Parasher in the movie.

Sinha obliquely targets Modi

BJP leader Yashwant Sinha made a veiled criticism of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi Thursday over reports of his rescuing Gujaratis in Uttarakhand, saying a “national leader” should be concerned about everyone and not just people from his state.

Sinha, an MP from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand, told TimesNow news channel that one should not introduce parochialism in the rescue of people stranded after a natural disaster.

“If one is a national leader, then he should be concerned about everyone from any part of the country,” Sinha said in an apparent dig at Modi.

Gold up Rs 120 on low level buying, firm global cues

Snapping a three-day falling trend, gold prices today recovered by Rs 120 to Rs 26,800 per 10 grams in the national capital on buying at existing lower levels amid a rebound in global markets.
