The Lok Sabha was rocked for the third consecutive day on the Telangana issue. The house was adjourned twice after it met on Wednesday morning as members of Telangana had stalled the proceedings.

TRS legislator K T Rama Rao has said that the demand for Rayala- Telangana was not of serious nature.

Talking to the media here on Wednesday, he said if the centre makes such a proposal, then TRS would think about Rayala-Telangana. He said their main demand was restoration of the areas that were merged in Andhra to create Andhra Pradesh. (NSS)

TDP MP Nandamuri Hari Krishna is reported to be once again angry with his brother-in-law and party president N Chandrababu Naidu over selection of candidates for the Rajya Sabha.

Dr Reddy said the preservation of the affected limb was successful and the patient was recovering well.

The External Affairs Ministry has sought the assistance of Muslim doctors and paramedical staff for temporary deputation to Indian Consulate in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia for Haj 2012.
