Strawberry Caulis 1 Cup
Sugar Free 1 Tablespoon
Agar-Agar 1 Tablespoon
Low Calories Cream 1 Cup
Fresh Strawberries 28 Pieces
Procedure:

Soak the Agar-Agar in water and dissolve wormed Strawberry Caulis.
Mix the 1 Tbs. Sugar free in the Cream and whip until fluffy and soft pick.
Fold together above mixture and fill in to a round ring.
Pour the mixture in to the mould.
Set the Cake in the Fridge.

Bird flu may not be so deadly after all, new analysis claims

Bird flu may be far less lethal to people than the World Health Organization`s assessment of a death rate topping 50 percent, scientists said on Thursday in a finding that adds fuel to the heated controversy over publication of bird flu research.

Scientists led by virologist Peter Palese of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York argue in an analysis published in the online edition of the journal Science that the WHO, a UN agency, is calculating the death rate using an estimate of human bird flu cases that is simply too low.

The people of Karnataka are suffering because of the infighting in the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Congress said Friday.

Spokesperson Rajiv Shukla told reporters here that while he would not comment on BJP’s internal affairs, the people of Karnataka “are paying for the internal conflicts of the party in the state”.

A fresh crisis enveloped the BJP in Karnataka after former chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa reportedly set a Feb 27 deadline for the party to make him chief minister again, failing which he would quit.

People’s Movement Against Nuclear Energy, spearheading the stir against Kudankulam Nuclear Power plant, today rejected as “baseless” Prime Minister Manmohan Singh‘s remarks that foreign NGOs are behind its protest.

“It is unfortunate that the Prime Minister has made the allegations without any documentary proof. We strongly deny his observation that the agitation is being funded by other countries,” PMANE convener SP Udayakumar told reporters here.

He demanded that Singh provide documentary proof in support of his allegation or withdraw his remarks. AP

Groom marries bride who got raped

Achche Lal, a Class 12 dropout, did what few would dare to do in his community. Breaking taboo, the young farmer in Madhya Pradesh married a woman who was raped by bandits only two days before they were to wed.

The marriage took place in a village in Shivpuri district Tuesday, Lal told IANS.

On Sunday night, the bride’s family was in despair after a gang of robbers took away all the wedding jewellery and cash and raped the bride and her sister at gunpoint.

“It was no fault of the girl. I need to stand by her. I have married her and I will fight for her justice too,” he said.

Obama vows to tap new energy sources

Saleh leaves US after receiving ‘medical treatment’

Yemen’s former ruler Ali Abdullah Saleh has left the United States several days after the Arab state’s sham elections in which only one candidate ran for president.

According to reports, a Yemeni official confirmed on Thursday that Saleh had left the United States, but gave no information about his destination.

Saleh had repeatedly said he would return to Yemen after his “treatment” in the US. He allegedly underwent medical treatment in the US for wounds he sustained in an attack on his presidential palace last year.

Salma Hayek to turn Gibran’s `Prophet’ into animated film

Mexican actress and producer Salma Hayek plans to make an animated film based on Lebanese author Khalil Gibran’s novel “The Prophet”, The Hollywood Reporter said Thursday.

The book, written in 1923, consists of 26 chapters devoted to topics such as love, marriage, childhood, joy, freedom, death and faith.

Hayek, whose father hails from Lebanon, has teamed up with the Doha Film Institute and Participant Media to bring Gibran’s classic to the screen.
