Adelaide Test: Ponting, Clarke share spoils on Day 1
Adelaide, January 24: On a batsmen friendly pitch, Australia wrested back the initial advantage from the Indians as they finished with 335/3 on the first day of the Adelaide Test on Tuesday.
Ricky Ponting (137*) and Michael Clarke (140*) were on the crease at stumps as they forged a partnership of 251 runs to pile misery on the Indians who are in search of an elusive win on Australian shores this summer.
