New Delhi, September 03: The Prime Minister Officer (PMO) seems to having some crorepatis in its cabinet. The PMO on Saturday, Sep 3 declared assets of all its ministers including the Prime Minister, Finance Minister, Home Minister and many others.
Surprising many, the declaration revealed that the Urban Development Minister, Kamal Nath is the richest cabinet minister, while Defence Minister, AK Antony is the poorest.
Declared assets of the ministers:
Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath is the richest with assets worth Rs 263 crore,
Manmohan Singh has assets worth Rs 5 crore,
Bogota, September 03: A 19-year-old pregnant Colombian woman’s unborn child was stolen after she was drugged and cut open, authorities in the northern province of Magdalena said.
The case occurred near Santa Marta, the provincial capital, police Col. Cesar Granados told reporters.
Andrea Carolina Pallares Cabrera, seven months pregnant, was in Santa Marta doing some personal errands when she was approached by an unknown woman who offered to help her enroll her baby in a public health programme.

Dubai, September 03: The Dubai Court of First Instance charged two Asians with forgong employment visas and swindling Dh20,000 from an unsuspecting victim.
According to a report in ‘Khaleej Times’, the duo – a Bangladeshi and a Pakistani – forged 11 employment visas, which they claimed were issued by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.
They are accused of tampering with the names and photos of applicants.
Dubai, September 03: The case of a missing bride from the South Indian state of Kerala who disappeared within 24 hours after she landed in Dubai six years ago is again gaining media attention.
This was one of the first calls that was made to the new round-the-clock complaint hotline that was launched on Friday morning by the Kerala State Chief Minster Oommen Chandy.
Smitha, a 24-year-old computer graduate had arrived in Dubai on August 1 in 2005 but went missing the very next day.
Jazan, September 03: A number of Saudis have launched a campaign on Twitter asking their compatriots to be kind to the foreign manpower living with them and to spread awareness in society about humanitarian treatment to foreign laborers.

Dubai, September 03: More than 6,800 women were involved in murder and other crimes in Dubai in the first half of this year, exceeding the total number of female criminals arrested during 2008-2009, a senior police officer was reported on Saturday as saying.
“A study conducted by our experts shows that women can now compete with men in all types of criminal activity,” said Brigadier Khalil Al Mansouri, director of the detectives and criminal investigation administration in Dubai.

Hyderabad, September 3: A husband stabbed his wife to death in a grim incident occurred at Saroornagar police station limits. 55 year old Mujeeb Uddin allegedly killed his 50 year old wife Mohammadi Begum. According to police Mujeeb Uddin is a habitual drinker he often used to quarrel with his wife. Yesterday morning they had arguments on petty issue following which Mujeeb Uddin attacked his wife with a sharp knife available in their kitchen and stabbed her in the chest. Mohammadi Banu died on the spot. The incident created panic at PNT colony.

Hyderabad, September 3: The demolition of illegal constructions at Sardar Patelnagar, Kukatpally by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is just a beginning because there are nearly 30 thousand unauthorized buildings in the city which are occupied by various families. These buildings have been constructed on government, endowment and waqf lands and also at full tank level (FTL) areas of the reservoirs of the city.
Applications have been submitted to regularize the buildings in connection with buildings penalization scheme however they were not considered eligible for regularization.

Hyderabad, September 3: Appointments will be made shortly for motor vehicle inspectors and other vacancies in State Road Transport Corporation. Chief Secretary Transport department, Lakshmi Partha Sarthi told this. She said work is getting delayed as the RTA offices are getting short of staff. The department is fully aware of this. Hence it is being considered to make appointments of MVOs and other level staff to deal with the shortage of the staff.

Hyderabad, September 3: Readers! I went to Makkah masjid to offer Jummatul vida prayer. I saw a beggar whose age may be around 55 years. He was dressed in a shirt and wore beard and had a two year old girl in his lap who was in deep sleep.
People were groping in their pockets to give some money to the beggar thinking that the innocent little girl might have become frail due to hunger. May be she has fainted.

Hyderabad, September 03: After stating that there was no negligence on the part of the Kurnool Government Hospital for the sudden death of 12 infants in less than 48-hours, Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Ravindra Reddy on Saturday made a shocking U-turn, when he said that there was a marginal human error and laxity.
Admitting that there was an error on part of the hospital staff, Reddy said that he would get the laxity corrected.
