Ralegan Siddhi, September 11 : First it was Baba rammdev and now Team Anna Hazare members today appeared to be talking in different voices over support to senior BJP leader L K Advani’s proposed yatra against corruption.

Asked about Advani’s plans to launch a campaign, activist Kiran Bedi said “we will support anybody who supports our cause. There is no question of party in this.”

Later when he was asked about Bedi’s remarks, another activist Arvind Kejriwal said what they want was “not a yatra but passing of Lokpal Bill”.

Mamta oppose Communal violence bill

New Delhi,September 11 :The proposed Communal Violence Bill on Saturday ran into trouble with NDA-ruled states and Congress ally Trinamool Congress opposing it as “dangerous” legislation and arguing that it would hurt the federal structure of the country.

At a meeting of National Integration Council (NIC) where the issue was on the agenda, NDA and chief ministers of the states ruled by it — Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar and Punjab — expressed opposition to the draft legislation in its current form.

8 unclaimed Muslim dead bodies buried

Eight unclaimed Muslim dead bodies including one woman were buried at Kukatpally Muslims Graveyard. The dead bodies were collected from Osmania and Gandhi Hospitals on receipt from information from eight Police stations.

A rickshaw puller was found dead at Gosha Mahal. The local residents informed Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan on phone, he sent Siasat team and after the police verification and postmortem, the dead body was handed over to Siasat team for burial.

28 devotees fall ill after consuming ‘prasadam’

Hyderabad, September 10: At least 28 devotees, including children, fell ill after consuming the prasadam at a local Ganesh pandal. The incident happened in Rajampet village of Bhiknoor mandal of Nizamabad district.

According to reports, the devotees started vomiting and complained of stomach pain after consuming prasadam at a Ganesh pandal. They were immediately rushed to Rajampet Hospital where they are undergoing treatment. Doctors suspect that food poisoning could be reason behind the incident.

Delhi blast e-mails can be fake

New Delhi, September 10: Union Home Secretary R.K. Singh Saturday said that it wasn’t necessary that the e-mails claiming responsibility for the Delhi High Court blast were sent by the actual perpetrators.

“We are not dismissing receiving the e-mails… At the same time, we are not saying that these e-mails have been necessarily sent by those people responsible for it (blast),” Singh told reporters.

“It could be other people who, when they heard about the blast, sent these e-mails,” he added.

Kaka seriously ill again; hospitalized

Hyderabad, September 10: Congress senior leader and former Union Minister Mr. G Venkata Swamy is once again seriously ill. He was rushed to the Care hospital around 6-30 on Saturday morning. He was suffering from respiratory problem and was immediately admitted to the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit. Doctors attending on him said that he was put on a ventilator for respiration.

Several Congress leaders have visited the hospital on knowing about Kaka’s illness, but were not allowed to visit him in the ICU.

Poor youth died due to doctor’s negligence

Hyderabad, September 10: A poor youth died due to criminal negligence of a doctor at Osmania hospital and the family lost their sole bread earner.

According to details an accident occurred near Aramghar on September 7 at 10:15 pm below the fly over near pillar no 256 in which three youth going to Hasan nagar on bike sustained serious injuries. 108 ambulance was called for, which didn’t reach on time so the local people shifted the three injured Mohammad Qadeer (30), Mohammad Ismail Qureshi and Sheikh Subhani all residents of Indira nagar, Hasan nagar to the hospital.

Hyderabad, September 10: The Hyderabad police have sought to allay apprehensions of violence breaking out during the Ganesh idol immersion procession on Sunday saying that there were no specific intelligence inputs about terrorists targeting Hyderabad.

“There is no need panic as elaborate security arrangements are made for the festival. Come, watch the procession anywhere from Balapur to Tank Bund fearlessly,” the Commissioner, A.K. Khan, appealed to people at a press conference on Friday.

Minorities feel they are being targeted

Grand mufti cautions public against dream interpreters on TV

Jeddah, September 10: Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh has strongly warned against listening to people who claim to explain dreams on radio and TV programs.

His warning came following a growing trend among the people of getting their dreams interpreted by “experts” on radio or television.

“Most of these interpreters (of the dreams) do not have sufficient and correct knowledge of Islam,” he said in his Friday sermon at Riyadh’s Imam Tuki bin Abdullah Mosque.

Father along with son and daughter commits suicide

Hyderabad, September 10: In a very heartrending and unfortunate incident occurred at Borabanda area, a father committed suicide along with his two young children. It is said that frequent quarrels with his second wife led him to suicide. He resorted to the extreme step along with the two motherless children.
