One would say yes, if one observes his style of functioning and thinking. There is criticism that KCR has been trying to grow as a political Don in the guise of the Telangana movement. Emraan & Vidya take off for romance

Mumbai, September 12: Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan took off to Hyderabad a few days back to shoot for their romantic number in ‘The Dirty Picture’.

Composed by Vishal & Shekhar, the sufi-style number, among the film’s many highlights, is being shot at the exotic Bidar Fort, which is a few hours’ drive from Hyderabad.

The tourism authorities are hoping for a boost to the area once the track releases on mass media.

Upon their return, there will be a final shooting schedule in Mumbai, after which the film’s photography stands complete, before the end of the month.

While speaking at a conference Saturday before the Bollywood diva sizzled on the ramp in a Neeta Lulla outfit on the first day of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2011, she said that no extravagant fashion statement should be made compromising comfort.

“Even the best outfit has to be comfortable, ” she said.

Priyanka urged the youth of the country to create their own style statement by finding what suits them best.

Muslim radicals burn American flag on 9/11 anniversary

London, September 12: A group of Muslim protesters in London set fire to the American flag outside the US embassy during a minute”s silence to mark the tenth anniversary of September 11, 2001, terror attacks.

Nearly 100 Muslim radicals, including members of Muslims Against Crusades, shouted ‘USA terrorists’ and were holding up anti-American placards, the Daily Mail reports.

Another small group of Muslims staged a counter-demonstration near the embassy, holding placards that read ‘Muslims Against Extremism’ and ‘If You Want Sharia, Move To Saudi’.

Burglars make the most of immersion

Hyderabad, September 12: Taking advantage of the absence of inmates, who went to the participate in the Ganesh immersion, thieves struck at two places in the city on Sunday and reportedly decamped with property worth more than Rs. 1 crore.

Four flats in an apartment were burgled at Gowliguda while another flat was burgled at Abids, police said. In both cases, the inmates of the five flats went to participate in Ganesh procession.

Eamcet phase-II: 1.6 Lakh seats remain vacant

Hyderabad, September 12: The end of admissions for Eamcet 2011 has sent private engineering colleges into a panic mode as the second phase of counselling hardly made any difference on the number of students enrolled.

Out of the 59,610 students, who exercised their options in the second phase, 15,028 fresh allotments were made. At the end of second phase of engineering counselling on Saturday, the number of unfilled seats continues to be 84,971 putting a large number of engineering colleges in a tight spot.

A master plan for Intelligent Transport System

Hyderabad, September 12: The Outer Ring Road is not open for two-wheelers. But two-wheelers do sneak in despite police vigil, according to Rajeshwar Tiwari, commissioner, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority.

Expressing his condolences to Azharuddin’s family, Tiwari said it was extremely sad that youngsters were losing lives on the highway due to speed biking.

“The HMDA will set up toll booths within a month or two on the stretch,” he said in reply to a query on what the HMDA proposed to do to prevent speed biking on the outer ring road.

Hyderabad, September 12: Miscreants attacked 4 Muslim youth in the incidents of miscreancy occurred during Ganesh procession in the city on Sunday. The miscreants assaulted the youth and snatched their bike. Azhar’s son Ayaz still critical

Hyderabad, September 12: Former Indian captain Mohammed Azharuddin’s son Mohammed Ayazuddin continued to battle for life on Monday, a day after he met with a road accident.

Azharuddin, who flew in here from London early Monday, rushed to the hospital after consoling his sister, whose 16-year-old son Ajmal-ur-Rahman died in the same accident.

According to doctors at Apollo Hospital, Ayazuddin, 19, was still on ventilator. They were continuing medication to maintain his blood pressure.

2 burnt alive on suspicion of practicing Bhanamati, probe ordered

Hyderabad, September 12: Chief Minister has strongly reacted on the incident of burning alive of 2 tribals on the suspicion of practicing Bhanamati at Vesapuram village in Bhadrachalam mandal of Khammam district and has directed collector Khammam to probe into the matter and submit a report of the case.

On the direction of chief minister Bhadrachlam sub collector left for the place of incident and action will be taken against the guilty after receiving the report.
