Hyderabad, September 27: Sultan Bazar police arrested two bookies for accepting bets on ongoing Champions League cricket matches. Deputy Commissioner Police east zone Mr. Y Gangadhar told that 45 year old Vijay Kumar Agarwal who is wanted by the police, was accepting bets on ongoing Champions League cricket matches on mobile phones along with his two aides B Ram Chandar and A Ramesh.

Bhopal, September 27 (Pervez Bari): Madhya Pradesh now stands at third position in the country in wheat procurement. Last year, a record procurement of 49.64 lakh metric tonnes of wheat was made. In view of this, a target to procure 60 lakh metric tonnes of wheat has been fixed for the next year. All necessary arrangements for this are being made right from now.

Killer husband arrested

Hyderabad, September 27 (Siasat News): A man had killed his wife by setting her ablaze in Shamshabad’s village Padaneera.

According to the rural police of Shamshabad, Lavanya, 28, was the native of Nagireddypally and was married to one M, Sekhar of Padaneera, some ten years back. Both husband and wife have a five-year-old daughter.

However, Sekhar was suspicious about the fidelity of his wife and used to beat her. Then too his wife did not walk out of the house and continued to live with him.

Labelle’s building catches fire at Ameerpet

Hyderabad, September 27: In a fire accident occurred at the busy area of Ameerpet a five story building of Labelle weight loss centre catches fire in which 6 workers of Labelle institute got stuck.

It is said that the incident occurred at 10:30 am yesterday and the workers immediately called police after seeing fire and smoke. Soon three fire engines reached the spot and doused the flames after 3 hours. Fire fighting team rescued the workers trapped in the institute.

Chopra, 29, follows 114 people on Twiiter whereas Tendulkar is second with 1, 411, 593 followers.

Bachchan bagged the third position with 1, 258, 371 followers beating Shah Rukh Khan (1, 193, 140 followers) and Salman Khan (1, 081,282 followers).

Work hard for a fit body: John Abraham

Mumbai, September 27: A lot of hard work is needed to keep the body fit, says Bollywood actor John Abraham.

“Making a strong body is like a religion. When you preach a religion you go to a temple. I go to a gym and workout. I really worked out hard to make a strong body. I had put on 10 kilo muscles in eight months,” Abraham told a media conference on his upcoming film “Force”.

John has sported a muscular look in `Force` where he plays a role of a no-nonsense cop who does not play by the book but always ensures that justice is served.

London, September 27: A growing number of second and third generation Muslims in Britain are reverting to polygamous marriages to avoid having sinful affairs that contradict with the teachings of Islam.

“I love both of them. Obviously you can love one more than the other,” Imran (not his real name), a second generation British Muslim who has two wives, told the BBC News Online on Monday, September 26.

“I spend one day and one night with one, and one day one night with the other,” he added.

Hyderabad, September 27: It is not just the ordinary people in Telangana who are affected by the ongoing general strike. Even the temples have been shut by priests all for the cause of a separate state.

Hundreds of temples across the region, comprising Hyderabad and nine other districts, stopped ‘Arjitha sevas’ and other special rituals as priests and other employees joined the ‘people’s strike’ which entered its 15th day.

SCR’s clarification on MMTS trains

Hyderabad, September 27: The South Centrally Railway has clarified that two MMTS Train services, which are shown in the Public Time Table as operated on Sundays, are not actually being operated. They are – Train No. 47198 Falaknuma- Lingampalli and Train No. 47113 Hyderabad-Lingampalli

Instead, the following MMTS Train Services are operated on Sundays even though these are not mentioned in the Public Time Table: Train No. 47112 Hyderabad-Lingampalli; Train No. 47133 Lingampalli-Hyderabad and Train No. 47155 Faluknuma- Lingampalli, according to the SCR.

Riyadh, September 27: A girls school in Saudi Arabia has decided to move one of its students to a boys school not because of new gender-mixing system in the Gulf kingdom. The girl has just converted into a boy.

Uhud, 13, had felt persistent cramps in her abdomen and in one week, the pain just disappeared to give way to male organs. Uhud’s father was stunned.

“I could not believe what I saw first…in just a week, my daughter had full male organs and now she became my son,” said Ahmed Hassan Mousa from the southern town of Khamis Mushait.

Nearly 300 activists of Telangana United Front went to the office of Emaar Properties in the afternoon and damaged the furniture.
