Videos of Scott, 21, and other players in a nude rugby game, played at Dunedin’s Logan Park before the All Blacks-Fiji test last month, have gone viral with more than four million views and attention from countries in Europe, the Otago Daily Times has reported.

Man gets death for killing daughter

Visakhapatnam, August 06: The mahila court-cum-sixth additional district court on Friday convicted a man for infanticide and sentenced him to death. The mother of the deceased infant, charged with abetment to crime, was sentenced to one-year jail with a fine of Rs 500.

This judgment was the first of its kind in the history of courts here and was delivered within a span of six months. According to the prosecution, the 36-day-old baby girl was strangulated to death by father K Arun Kumar, an electrician, as he did not want a girl. The baby was born on October 23, 2010.

Guj riots SIT probe details leaked: Sanjeev Bhatt

Gujarat, August 06: IPS officer Sanjeev Bhatt, who has accused Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi of misusing state machinery during 2002 post-Godhra riots, has alleged that the Special Investigation Team probe details on riot cases were leaked to a top law officer of the state government.

Bhatt, in his 19-page supplementary affidavit filed before the Supreme Court last week, alleged that someone from within the Special Investigation Team was leaking sensitive and confidential details related to investigations conducted by it to Additional Advocate General Tushar Mehta.

AP govt to come up with new policy on land allotment

Hyderabad, August 06: Andhra Pradesh government is coming up with a new Land Allotment Policy that lays stress on “scientific and judicious allotment” of land for different purposes. A draft paper pertaining to the new policy has been prepared by the state Revenue Department in concert with other departments like Industries, Infrastructure and Information Technology. It was presented to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at a high-level meeting here this evening and would be sent to all political parties in the state for consideration, according to sources in the Chief Minister�s Office.

Teenager gets buried alive on beach

California, August 05: A teenager who was buried in 6 feet (1.8 meters) of sand while digging a trench on a California beach says he was certain he would die before rescuers pulled him to safety.

Matt Mina told The Associated Press on Thursday that he passed out after a few minutes, but before he lost consciousness he thought of his family and friends. He says he didn’t know if anyone knew he was buried or could hear his screams.

The 17-year-old from Virginia was visiting his aunt and uncle in Orange County and spent the day at Newport Beach with his cousin.
